Just got off the phone with forward element(my folks) in WV.... The 3RD WV Buell Rally will be Aug.14Th to to the 16Th. Something new for the menu this year.... Navy Beans and Corn Bread.... When she said that I just smiled with a little laugh. Campfire tales should be good this year... Time to make plans for round 3 of the WV BUELL RALLY!!! When: August 14TH to the 16TH Where: http://www.northbendsp.com/ Same place as last year! Why: We had a hell of a good time last year! We can pitch our tents at the same location as last year in the Cokely camping area or if camping is not your thing... make your reservations at The Heritage Inn 315 E. Main St Harrisville, WV 26362 304-643-2938 Cokeley Campground is a place to play, fish, hike, bike, or sit by a campfire on a star filled night. There are 28 sites with water and electric hookups. Each site has a picnic table, campfire ring, and lantern post. There are three ADA sites and a modern bathhouse with coin operated washers and dryers. | ||

Will we all be playing "Corn Hole" again? That was great fun for the 'whole' family!  Oh, and "Deer Dodge" on the way back to the beer.......er.....ah....camp site? This year I won't know until the last minute if I can make it, but it is on my list! | ||

I am a definitely tentative maybe. It was such a grate time last year, who could miss it? And, I promise to practice my parking skills before I get there....  BTW, who's going to the IX Bike show this weekend? I'm going tomorrow (1/31), gonna get there as close to opening as I can. Hope to see some of you grate people around the Buell booth. Probably Gary, since maybe they have a new t-shirt out that he doesn't have yet.....LOL... Gary, if you come, bring me a CD....please? | ||

Just an FYI... I was talking with one of the guys in the Buell Booth, His name was something like Monjay, if I recall. he is in the IT department of Buell. he said if you can "talk the talk," they can assume you are a genuine Buell owner, and will give you a shirt. I could have booged two for that reason, but left the second one for one of you sorry mopes to pick up behind me... LOL... So, don't be afraid to ask. "Free is ME!" | ||

The IMS was just what I needed to get PUMPED! It was great getting to talk to the Buell peeps and seeing the bikes. Talked to Lee Parks, that was way cool. I also got to see a look of shock on a KTM Reps face when I told him how much you could get a 1125R for.... He thought he had me when It came to factory race parts..sorry dude, got ya there too..... I think he wants one...LOL. | ||
