When I leave work at 4 am, it will be in the mid 40s. Coldest ride home in a while -- but I'll take it. Grip heaters will be ON. |

Freaking 80's here all week with more on the way. I don't wish for snow and ice and I admire those of you who put up with it, but a little bit of winter here would be appreciated. We really need some rain. |

It's brutal here, 55 right now (8:30pm). It was a cold bitter ride home from work tonight! Actually had to zip my 'stich' up all the way. It's another tough winter in the Bay area. |

I don't envy you, even as I awake to a 12 degree morning. |

Well, I am happy to say we have lived through the -38 degree weather here in Fargo, ND and have had a full shift to a high of 38 degrees this past Saturday! Mind you, that is a full -38 without counting that windchill crap. Windchill at -38 is the stuff that makes your eyes freeze in your head! Nobody giggles when I wear goggles to the grocery store! I think the body takes more of a beating with the severe shifts than the actual temp! All of us pushing snowmobile throttles during this lack of Buell attention are actually thinking they are on their bikes! I think it just makes me appreciate each season that much more! I updated my blog the last few weeks with our non-buell throttle mashing! I many times take a quick phone-cam pic of the thermometer in the rearview mirror! www.biff.org Keep the rubber down if on bike or sled! Mark Lawson Fargo, ND Currently 15 degrees and climbing!! |

Gonna hit mid-60's here this weekend and sunny (slight chance of rain on Sunday). Guess what I'll be doing?
