How do you deal with fender clearance problems when using the tall pitbull front stands?

I have to take it apart, turn it sideways, get the pin started, pull it around straight (which flexes the fender a lot), then slide the base under it. There's gotta be a better way.

I've used the Pit-Bull newfront front stand without problems. I'm not sure if what you have is a different model, but the upper portion is adjustable for height. Mine is set to the lowest position, and I'm using the #3 pin as Pit-Bull specifies for the 1125R.

I try to keep a gloved hand between the fender and the top of the newfront stand to minimize contact with the fender, but, I think they're going to touch (lightly). The stand does have some rubber on it there, so there's no metal is touching the fender. Once you apply some force, the stand and the fender space out and there isn't any contact...

I don't notice any contact with the fender with the pit bull front stand. I do have to watch the clutch line though, as it sometimes gets pinched.
