Ok, installed the LED turn signals but don't know where the flasher is located to change it with my new one. Any pics would help. |

isnt it in the box thingy to the left of the speedo??? I think one of those is the flasher relay |

It's behind the front fairing on the upper right side of the bike, just above the right headlight(that's the left one if you're standing in front of it). You need to remove the front fairing, windshield, mirrors and turn signals to get to it. Once you have those parts off if you can't see it, turn the key on and turn on a turn signal and you will hear it flashing. We have the same bike. |

Just out of curiosity, replacing the flasher with a flasher for LEDs would result in the same thing as putting in a resistor right? |

In a manner of speaking, yes. You're just putting in a flasher that can understand a low resistance load instead of making up for the change in resistance by adding an inline resister. Getting a new flasher relay is the better way to go. |

Actually, most LED flashers are time-based instead of load-based...but same end result, a 'normal' flash speed. |
