Author Message   Impala Posted on Friday, January 23, 2009 - 12:47 am:        I am purchasing a 14.5" shock from a fellow member so I need the mount to go with it since I have the 16.5" version. Does anyone have pictures of both mounts or know how to tell them apart? I don't want to waste my money on the wrong mount! Page 55 #7 Bracket K0407.8h 2000-M2. Page 57 #9 Bracket K0407.01A1 2001-M2. The later brkt. has an extra bolt hole but looks the same. The shock on the 2001 M2 and M2L have different numbers.
