Buelltech, if you need a place to store the stock tires, my bike can wear 'em for awhile. |

BT6 , you ought to love the Shinko's. I've been runnin' them for a couple of years, granted on the curvy tracks not at the strip. A lot of good reviews from the drag racing world about them as well. They're cheap and last longer than their price and stickiness would indicate. |

"Mike! How the hell you been brother? Still out in PA?" Yes, still in Pa. Been good! Check out the profile. I got into riding 4 wheelers. The Can-am in the picture is a 800cc Rotax V-twin 4x4, real close to the 1125R. Goes real fast! Got the 1125R also, reminds me of your RC51. A printout of you e-Bay Helmet ad was floating around the plant last year, I saw it and said, "I know that guy" |

Holy shit! That's pretty funny that my helmet ad is still floating around. I sold that thing years ago! I bet that Can Am rolls pretty good! I give you credit, those things are dangerous! I was this close to buying an 1125R, but a few things i didn't like made my mind up. I liked it, not loved it. Instead i pulled the trigger on a 2009 Ducati 1198s. I'm waiting for the TPS software to arrive at the dealership. I took some pics of it today, and i should have it home next week. I still can't beleive it's mine yet. I'm really anxious to try out the Traction Control. The reviews i read about it are sick! We need to do some riding this season. If you still do trhe street thing, we could meet somwhere in PA..i could even get Cecil involved..i spoke to him last week. He rides a Ducati 848. Well, keep in touch.. |

Scares me that the two of you live so close together . . . MikeyP I think we should jet to York for lunch someday! Where did you buy the 1198R? Did you get it from Cross Country? |

You know Court, your right...we should jet out there soon. And yes, i bought my bike from Cross Country. Maire was the girl who sold me my bike. She's a sweetheart! Heres a link to some pics. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=211213&l=aab 11&id=542860187 I was there yesterday, and i'm waiting for the software so the TPS can be reset. I should have the bike by next week sometime. I'm almost certain that i'm the first 1198S owner this side of the Mississipi. (Message edited by Mikeyp on January 22, 2009) |

That Ducati is an amazing bike. Congrats. Ccryder, I would say that's a BMW police bike due to the shaft drive. |

Thanks guys! (And i'm sorry i hijacked this thread....) I'm really excited about this bike. I really am curious about the traction control. I heard that a test rider had it cranked over, and was leaving long lurid power slides out of a corner on the racetrack....all on one wheel! |
