I killed the TV 1/1/09. there was nothing of worth on it anyways. I certainly dont feel I have missed anything.
This nation is obsessed with 'Celebrity' and "Celebreality". It churns my stomach.
We would rather watch somebody butcher Karaoke than pay attention to Senate confirmation hearings.
Good thing it all implodes in December of 2012  |

Court, Good point on the idol thing. But when people are given false info they're dumb regardless of politics. The public is dumb, especially when a microphone is thrust in there faces. I almost lose my faith in humanity when i see the public open their yaps on tv. Then again, I went to a nice public school which some folks don't get a chance to do. |

You will be comforted to know that far more folks tuned into American Idol than the inauguration and only a fraction of the number of folks who witnessed Ronald Reagan take the oath.
That was the Inaugural Balls not the Inauguration proper as far as Idol was concerned. Numbers for compared to Uncle Ronnie, Reagan : 41.8 million Obama 37.9 million.

BOO, I know about the whole dominant gene thing I just didn't want to get too scientific here. Both because I can't and don't want tobecause I can't.
I know some old timers who label any offspring the same as he who sired it. As they would say "No matter what soil you plant a tomato seed in, you'll get a tomato plant. Of course that is rediculous as you can see by just going a few generations in your head of mixed race reproduction that that theory in flawed at best.
