merry go round-my brother lost a lb of flesh due to one of those! tried to jump on it while it was spinning, missed, took about a 1/2" wide swath of skin from just above his foot up to his knee off. Ouch. he got made fun of endlessly. We lived in the sticks and used to take cattails, dip them in a coffee can full of kerosene, light them on fire, and then shoot them at one another with our bow's. I don't know a single person I grew up with who hasn't been shot with a bb gun. |

heck, i just threw away one od those sets of aquadots a few weeks ago. one of the guys i work withs mom bought them for a grandkid before the recall. as soon as he found out he brought them to me. what gave him the impression i could find a use for them is beyond me lol. although i did originally mean to send some to spidy so that he could still have some fun after the honeymoon stage wore off...... lmao. but i kept forgetting to put them in the mail. |

I love this thread!! We used to sled down an alley hill in our neighborhood on real sleds made of metal and wood with metal runners that in themselves could slice you open, only the little kids went down the hill on plastic. We'd then go home and warm up standing on the heat register thawing out over ductwork wrapped in asbestos, then go and lean on the window molding painted with lead paint to see if any of our friends were heading out again. How did we survive? |

I use to lay in the back shelf of my dad's '64 impala SS when I was seven. That is where I would sleep while the family was cruising at 85 mph on what is now secondary roads. They were the only roads back then. |

Clackers.. 2 plastic balls on a string with a plastic hoop in the middle. the idea was to get them hitting together as fast as possible while holding the ring on a finger. circa 1972. |

I loved my Wizzzers! Tons of fun (and really good revenge tool in your sisters long hair).
