Hey, does anyone have a dent puller? Some teenager decided to change lanes into my truck and I've got a couple minor dents on the right fender, and before I go buying a dent pulling kit, I wanted to know if anyone had anything and could help a brother out...let me know. Payment would come in the form of free beer! (Message edited by puphaphil on January 01, 2009) |

Man that was fun... I did learn one all important thing Saturday however, For lunch go to Fudruckers!!! Really though, we had some good laughs and learned some new tricks. But most importantly, I think we've secured what each of us needs more then anything else. That's a one day Advance Rider course with the "Total Control" School. (Lee Parks, if you want to look him up) They run the classes from April to October, so we couldn't take a class in time for March Badness so to say, but non the less, I think it's right up our alley. 1. Use your own bike. (No prep like at VIR) 2. Jacket, Gloves, Helmet and Boots! (No full leathers - who'd have a problem with that?) 3. It's in Frederick Maryland (We can ride up the night before and take the class and then ride home.) 4. Cost Just $295 ea if we take a class before June. Plus, if we sign up 6 in advance, we get a rebate of $25 ea after the class, if we sign up 12 it goes up to $50 back each! Hey maximum class size is 12 riders so we could potentially have our own Hooligans Class. I'll start a thread in the Adventures section so that we can discuss the details. I'm already excited! What do you guys think? |

Made it to Vegas in one piece, Mel. Got hooked up with a Dodge Charger for my rental...it's not the SRT/8, but it's WAY better than a damn Caliber. My deployment got pushed back to May 10th, so I may actually have time to ride and take the Camaro to car shows before I take off for six months! |

cool... yeah, i'd much rather have a charger then this lil FORD focus. I know why they named it that. You got to FOCUS on what you're doing when on the highway, cause you sure ain't getting out of the way of anything with a real engine in it!!! |

AAAHHHHH... It's good to be home. You just don't know how hard it is to look at those twisty roads and know your bike is almost 3K Miles away! That's the one thing I appreciate about CA. You can see the roads you want to ride on from your hotel window. But, it's good to be back on the right coast. Even the cold frigid air is no deterrent when you can see the sun and your got your $50 long underwear on! Yup, I'll hit two wheels sometime this weekend. I'm just a couple (less then 20) miles away from the magic 15000 Odo reading and I can't wait to pass that mile marker. But it's good to be home... Living out of a suitcase causes the tension that riding my Buell relieves. Plus... We got some good Foot Ball this weekend. So... who's hosting the party on the first again? |

How's this for statistics Bishop? My last post was number 3500 for the group and with this post, we are just 8 post away from eclipsing DC-VA-MD Buell Riders. Remember Mike when "they" were the closest thing to a Buell Community in our area? Smoke 'me if you got 'em!!! (Proud member of HRH) |

So, back to Mel's question...who's hosting the party? Well, it's been in the mid-60's low 70's here...I almost broke down and dropped a monthly payment to rent a bike for the day!!!! Although the weather's nice, and it's Vegas, and I'm rolling V.I.P. at the Palm's tomorrow, I can't wait to get home! |
