I love "choppers", bikes that became more by removing parts. OCC doesn't produce choppers. They start with basic components and keep adding doodads and crap until you can hardly see a bike in there anymore. Remember the first OCC chopper? That aircraft inspired POS with bullets welded to the down tube? The best choppers to me are the Excile Cycles. They are stripped down and clean. I WOULD ride one of those. |

Seriously, this is the only bike I've ever liked by OCC.

I have owned my Bourget for 11 years now. Obviously I like it. 96" S&S/200 rear tire Nothing real special, just a hot rod bike.

If I had the money for a custom, I'd probably go for a Roland Sands.

Years ago I saw a guy without legs on a chopper trike made for him. Still can't get the image outa my mind. It was BAD. I have always thought it was probably real quick. I watched him, I just kept staring till he was outa sight. Then I put my truck back into gear and turned left at the light I had been sitting at. Wild looking it was. |

I like what they do - and Arlen Ness - it's art. That individual plane piece doesn't appeal to me - but plenty of them do - as sculpture - not as vehicles. |

I wonder if it was built with an $800 hammer or has a $2K toilet seat on it. |

One of my favorite bike builders is right here in Milwaukee Wi. His bikes aren't something you'd ride far but they are cool. That would be Dave Cook's. Board Tracker looks.

OCC should make that bike stealth and have it disappear. |

Hey, Buellinachineshop, I believe the Sunoco bike wasn't designed by OCC which explains a lot. |

Dana, I saw a Discovery show on Sturgis, Dave cook has taken third place the last two or three years in a row. His trackers are kickass. |

John, He was at my Place a couple times. We used to do the Wisconsin Custom Bike Build-Off. Would you believe he took second with both bikes out 6 builders bikes??? It was judged by the public. People like the fat tired choppers more.... go figure. Dave is a builder among builders and of the best. That pic was actually taken in our lot 4 years ago. |

The whole idea of "theme bikes" is stupid. But if someone is gonna offer me (or any one of you probably) 100K+ to build a stealth bomber theme bike, you can bet your daughter's virginity I'm gonna do it or die trying. And the sad part is, none of us would probably come up with anything better. Theme bikes are just bad. What the hell could you do....a stealth bomber themed bike, a bowling bike, a lawnmower bike, a Inel computer chip bike, the list goes on and on. |
