Yea one of them is probably mine from when I bought my bike with the race kit. Wanted the stock stuff that was taken off my bike and was told "We throw that stuff out since no one wants it" And some people wonder why I will NEVER buy another bike from Precision. |

Hey ToolBags~~~ When you go to the NYC International Motorcycle Show next weekend 1/16-1/18, Make sure you check out the schedule of seminars at the "HUB" during the show. Lee Parks will be offer multiple free seminars throughout the 3 day show. At the hub, you will learn actual techniques taught in the Total Control ARC. Lee will also be teaching you how to measure your suspension once each day in the Buell Booth. Listen to the overhead announcements for reminders of seminar times. As soon as I get the list of times, I will post them. Seminar Topic: Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic Presenter: Lee Parks, Lee Parks Design leeparksdesign.com totalcontroltraining.net Created to meet the riding skill needs of experienced riders, Lee Parks' Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic helps riders of all types of bikes improve their skills in a controlled environment with expert instruction. Lee will walk show attendees through the dynamic classroom portion of the clinic, which gives riders a clear understanding of how their actions affect their bikes' ability to maintain traction and control, and how to build up their skills gradually, in a building-block format. Cornering technique is the primary focus of the Total Control ARC. Lee's landmark "10 Steps to Proper Cornering Technology" will be explained in detail. It has proven itself over the last 10 years to make any rider, regardless of street or track experience a better, safer rider. About Lee Parks: Chief instructor Lee Parks has been racing for over 25 years and won the 2001 WERA National Endurance Series Championship in the Lightweight class. He also finished 2nd in the 1994 AMA 125GP national championship in its exhibition year. He spent five years as the editor and chief test rider of Motorcycle Consumer News where he road tested every new street motorcycle available in the U.S. and became one of the top performance-testing journalists in the world. His best-selling book Total Control is considered the bible of high-performance riding technique and sells around the world in three languages. Lee is also the president of Lee Parks Design, a motorcycle gear and accessory manufacturer that will be displaying its made-in-the-USA products at the International Motorcycle Shows this year. __________________ Ask them about Total Control ARC Level 1 and Level 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSVg3Gg4LmA |

If you haven't been paying attention, be advised that it looks as though we're going to run another order of NEBO homo patches. If you want some, speak up. The buy-in will be around $25 and you'll wind up with around 6 patches, but I've got to talk to the manufacturer to straighten it out. And it all depends on how many people want in. Watch the NEBO swag thread for further info. And once you say you want in, NO WELCHING! (Message edited by scotty_j on January 12, 2009) |

For the few people asking me about Fork Rebuilds, I just opened an account with Race Tech and will be able to do a complete fork rebuild for 120.00 per set with my discount. This will include: *Complete Disassembly & Cleaning Of All Parts *Ultra Slick Oil (Light or Medium weight) *Fork Oil Seals *Slide Bushings *Guide Bushings *Dust Boots *Copper Crush Washers **ADD 110.00 for new springs (Designed for YOUR weight)** **ADD 180.00 for Re-Valving** I will also include a 1 year warranty on all parts/labor AND Free Suspension Set Up (Sag & Compression/Rebound Damping) So technically you could get a set of "Race Forks" for about 400.00.... Same set up I paid over 630.00 for!!!!! and worth every penny!!!! (Message edited by firebolteric_ma on January 12, 2009) |
