Please explain starting problems in more detail, specifically, does it not crank or does it crank but not fire, not even a pop or pffft? If it cranks but doesn't fire, check the spark plugs to see if they are wet-fouled. If the plugs are OK, remember to not touch the throttle when trying to start it as the EFI is programmed to supply the proper amount of air for the amount of cold enrichment it applies. |

Ring open end for front plug after taking off scoop. Wobble socket on rear after taking off airbox assembly. Remove plug leads with plug pliers. Replace leads for peace of mind. They are not expensive at all. Wipe a smear of electrical grease on the inside of the plug boots before putting them back on. Makes it easier to put on and stops water getting in. |
