Looks like a bad time to sell an S2. I spent a year looking for mine, and now I see 3 others in the classifieds. Mine is in Amarillo. I love this bike but lack of funds and any local buell mechanic has worn this bike down. It runs and driven daily, but needs a few things that I don't have the money to take care of, so instead of continue to run her to the ground I want her to go to someone who will take care of her and rebuild her as seen fit. The Good- Forcewinder intake Force exhaust American Sport Bike carbon fibre front fender Vrod footpegs The bad- Needs shock, rocker gaskets, brake pads, front caliper needs rebuild, needs isolators, fairing is cracked, right side mirror is shattered, bodywork needs paint, misc. Nuts and screws missing, etc. I'm probably forgetting something. It sound worse than it is; most of this stuff could be taken care of on a weekend with a few hundred dollars and some frugal shopping. I'm just so far behind right now that I can't deal with it. I have to come up with $3K in April for taxes and I make less than half of what I did 6 months ago. The bike has 30K+ miles and a lot of stories along the way. I've had the bike since May and I alone put over 9K on it. I love this bike and if it weren't for the isolators I would ride it anywhere. I went to Colorado last month and got a good story to tell from it. Anyway my email is phelan.z06@gmail.com . I forgot to mention that it comes with a lot of spare parts like stock header with Carbon Fibre V&H muffler, '00 X1 front wheel, nice fitted bike cover, trickle charger, and whatever else I can find. | ||

I have seen Phelan's bike and I he described it pretty well. She needs work for sure but Ross rode her up to Colorado in Nov and back to Texas. She would be a good project for someone. Sorry you got to sell her Ross but we all understand the reasons. There are plenty to be had out there when you get in a position to have another one. Frank | ||
