Hey guys. I just bought an 08 1125R and I had a question about the Buell saddlebags. Does anyone own these yet and if so can a passenger ride with them on? I can't wait to ride this beast, but alas, I live in Maine and will have to stare at it until spring. |

It is not recommended, by Buell, to ride with a passenger w/ the bags. If you search a little you find many threads about hard and soft bags. I own the new Buell bags and I think it would be next to impossible to get their feet on the passenger pegs with the bags on. The bags on the other hand are very nice and roomer than I expected. |

I would like to see those Buell softbags installed on a bike and photographed from different angles so I can get an idea of their size. The photo on the Buell website isn't very helpful, and I remember how TINY those Firebolt bags were when I saw them in person. They looked a LOT larger on the website. |

I knew I had seen this set up installed, Michael documented them here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/389682.html Later |

Thanks. Those bags look good! The tailbag is pretty useless from my point of view. Better to just strap a waterproof duffel over the top with my camping equipment (which would NEVER fit in that tailbag). Guess it's time to place an order... |
