I have been looking at new turn signals on a lot of different sites. Some expensive, some cheap, not a lot have really interested me except the Oberon ones but I really dont feel like spending that kind of money right now. I found these on ebay from Ezeran Moto that I think I am going to get. Does anyone have these? Thoughts, pro's, con's...anything? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motorcycle-LED-Turn -Signal-Indicator-Short-Stalk-R6-TBS_W0QQcmdZViewI temQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a543Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a 1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_tr ksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem250308081371QQitem Z250308081371QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessorie s#ht_2580wt_1027 |

I bought a set similar to that months ago. They look great on the bike but my only complaint is that they seem to be weakly constructed. Hell, with the stock blinkers you can nearly fold them back completely and they'll snap right back. The ones I bought on ebay, I went walking by the bike one day at the house... my shirt caught the back blinker and it ripped right off. Good thing is their cheap...but you get what you pay for. |

Yeah, the stock signals aren't much to look at, but they're darn rugged for a street bike... almost as good as dual sport blinkers. ~SM |

I was looking at the same ones in cycle gear. The nice thing is if your not happy with them cycle gear has a great return policy. I just returned a back pack that I used for the last 6 months, 'cuz I got saddle bags. Not questions just gave me my money back. So it might be better to spend an extra few dollars just for that reason. |

I bought a set from LuckyBike.com for the front of my bike last year. They look almost identical, but if you look at the lens you'll see that LB's break-up the light emissions, and mildly disguise the LEDs. http://luckybike.com/super-mini-stalk-turn-signals -power-led39s-st181-p-306.html?osCsid=923794af7cc2 49a08d51918a1d9a1424 I love them. |

I got these from LuckyBike last year. http://luckybike.com/super-stalk-turn-signals-powe r-led39s-1944-black-p-132.html?osCsid=923794af7cc2 49a08d51918a1d9a1424 They looked cool (or so I thought) and I loved that they had LEDs on the back side but the plastic was so freaking thin & brittle. One cracked when I gently bumped it while walking past the bike. Another one cracked when I noticed it was a little loose and I gave the nut a half turn. The stalks are simply too weak. I was afraid to even stare too hard at the remaining two for fear of them breaking. I replaced them with aluminum ones and they are still going strong. |

They came into today and they actually seem pretty nice. We'll see about how long they last. Fast shipping from that ebay store. I have a question about the wiring though, i know this may be dumb but I would rather just get it right the first time. Okay so the new signals have a black and yellow wire coming out of them. The signal wires that come from the bike are black and purple I believe. Do I hook the black wire from the signal up to the black wire on the bike, and then the yellow to the purple? My bikes winterized and has no battery in it so this is just a peace of mind thing that I know they will work when i put the battery back in in the spring. Thanks everyone. |

Yes you're doing it right. Did you get resistors to compensate the turn signal relay for the lack of load resistance? If not, I'm getting rid of mine. I got the LED relay from americansportbike.com so I don't need them anymore. |

Yep I got the resistors already. Thanks though! I will post pics when the tail piece and front brackets come back from the powder coater. Thanks everyone. |
