has any body seen the red ones in person? Just wondering if they would match my cherry bomb rims, or how close. |

turns out i can't install them on my buell (on the clutch side) because i have the hydraulic assist. i love the way these look too so i have a new set, of black with the red clicky section (so they might "clash" less with your cherry bomb red. if you're interested, i'll dig up what i paid on eBay for them and you can have them for the same amount, free shipping. interested? let me know. Will they bring the break in any closer than the stock adjustables? And the clutch, If you bring it in closer, will you be able to engage the clutch all the way? Let me know what you paid for them. I'm a little broke after 2 trips to cycle gear for the new years sale. Shoulda left my wallet at home... |

Buellgirlie, If you're still in S.F. no shipping I'm over the bridge. I go to the wharf to get lunch every now and again. |

The clutch lever does have the ability to adjust closer to the bars. But with the adjustment your clutch will not fully disengage. You really only need to fully disengage the clutch when you're finding neutral or shifting into 1st. |

Boney, I'm not racing or anything, just everyday stuff. So wouldn't it be bad for my clutch as 1st gets used at every stop light? I'm just trying to over come my stubby fingers. Sounds like it might be better (for the bike) to stay with the stock ones. What do you guys think? |

I keep my CRG brake & clutch levers both adjusted to 6 (the farthest reach) Personally I got them just for the shorter lever and the looks. |

I only drop down from position 6 when Im running the back roads and twisties, other than that Im at position 5 or 6 the rest of the time. It would be bad shifting for neutral to 1st without fully disengaging the clutch repeatedly. It just makes clutch shifting a bit quicker. |

American Sport Bike lists only the clutch lever as the same part number for XB and Tuber. One of the levers will work for a Tuber from certain years of Yamaha R1's as well. I think it was the clutch, but not 100% sure. NOTE: it's 98-01 R1's (Message edited by pkforbes87 on January 13, 2009) |

Buellgirlie, are they both long, or long clutch/short brake? I like the short brake. Also I have the black Buell ones (adjustable brake).. (Message edited by 2008xb12scg on January 10, 2009) |

I rode to work. Now I have to go run some erands, will take the bike. I drove (my pick-up) with my daughter from golden gate park to santa cruz down hwy 1. It was beautiful. Wish I had my bike, but I won't take her on the bike yet. Let me know when you get the insurance I could come out that way and go 4 a ride. |
