Well I have heard, and seen the bigger motors (harley) going for up in the range of 100k. I just didn't know for sure with the rev-happy way these things are if they would last nearly as long |

It's all in the maintanence. Namely, better gaskets and synthetic oil. And bronze drive gear and stuff like that depending on how you ride. My 2 has 30K and runs fine, butneeds new isolators soon. My XL1200S shattered a drive gear @ 17K cuz I rode 100 mph everywhere. My S2 rarely sees above 80. |
