Phillip, Greetings from Tulsa. Did you not see the post 5 back from B bueller? He sent you a message of hello telling you he knows of a few twisties. He lives in Edmond,Oklahoma. That is close to OKC you know.He is probably one of the coolest fellows I have met on here.He is VERY smart about bikes also. You need to try and hook up with him sometime.Peace and Grease,Lesley |

Jason, Hey Dude, sorry I missed your posting. I was unable to make it out Saturday though. I been wondering about you and Jeremy as I haven't seen any posts from you fellows.Actually I haven't heard from anyone on here.I been posting and keeping up with Tulsa Sportbike Rider web site.Of course the Winter Season is setting in now so I guess everyone's ride times will dwindle for a lot of us.I hope you guys are doing good. Peace and Grease-Lesley |

AHH advancement results came out today for the Navy. I missed being promoted to E-5 by only 4.05 points, but this was my first time testing so my chances were slim to begin with. No raise for me At least not for the next 6 months. |

Howdy Drake.I'm glad you're doing good with that fancy new heated gear.Maybe next year I'll get me some so I can ride a little further into Winter season. I sure wished that people talked more on here (Tulsa Riders) I know there aren't that many, but people are so much nicer and mature on this site.I saw where you had tried to explain my paragraph skills on the TSR site.I do appreciate your help. It's just funny you know.I mean it was a thread to welcome a new guy. I didn't feel like explaining to them that I have to keep my monitor settings a certain way because I am using a company computer. What I do looks normal to me but I guess some of the fellows just can't follow. I hope your holidays are Happy. Thanks for being a friend. Peace and Grease,Lesley |

Hey Lesley, Yeah, this board and TSR are VERY different. The maturity level and mentality vary widely on that forum. I use this board for technical info on Buell's. Currently I am scoping out several different exhausts for my 1125R. I use the TSR board more for entertainment and local group rides. I have met some really great people on both boards. However, I have met a few people on TSR that I distant myself from due to child-like behavior and dangerous riding skills. If I posted up what I really thought of some of those folks, I would probably get banned. But, I don't...and I keep most of my opinions to myself anymore. I just like hanging out with people who are in it for the RIDE. |

Drake, Enough said I understand exactly what you are saying. For me it is kinda confusing still because no one hardly uses their real names and I don't know any of those TSR guys.Evidently they are not the same ones I become friends with at Starbucks.Guess I should have figured that out sooner.I've never thought Buell was better than any other bike but I am starting to think some of those guys are nothing more than just jealous. So you are gonna get a new exhaust huh? The more I read about those motors the more I am impressed.I just do not understand why Harley can't take some of the newer ideas and make a better motor.I mean goodness they have had the V-rod motor, and now they have the 1125.Why can't they copy the design and make their own.Don't get me wrong,I know your bike is a Harley, and very bad ass at that.I just hate that Harley isn't manufacturing it themselves you know. We all know they are quite capable.Oh well you can't argue much with those 140 something horse powered beast'. I hope you have a great day. |

I agree. Someday it would be nice to see a motor like the 1125 made by Harley. They have the money and the resources to do it. It's just not in the cards at this time, I guess. |

Drake, Yeah I guess you're right about timing. I guess H/D is like the rest of the world right now and they are reluctant to venture into anything new as of lately.Maybe in a year or two though.I know that new bike the XR1200 or whatever it's called is getting everyones attention. What is funny is it's just about looks on this one.I mean it is basically a standard bike frame right? So there really isn't anything new other than it will be sold in America. Oh well at least I know my bike is faster than that one.lol... |

Just purchased another X1! I bought the black 2002 that was listed in the classifieds here on badweb. There's my other project for the winter! If everything goes as planned I'll get it running then swap the plastics and wheels from my 2000, and end up with the same bike, minus 2 years and 20,000 miles |

Hey cool! One of these days, it would be nice to get a Tuber for nostalgic reasons. An S1 would be sweet to have in the garage. |

depending on my financial situation when I get both bikes running I may try to trade for an xb of some kind. All xb models are awesome though so I dunno which one to get. A tt frame and suspension with an r windscreen and s tail would be great |

Hey guys. Just checkin in, hope to ride with you guys when it warms up. The only motorcycling i've done was to ride out to the Dallas IMS, Buell had a great display of there race bikes, the full fairing 1125R just looks great with no radiator bulges. Also sat on the KTM RC8 gp bike, it had the best riding position for my frame. Well i guess Jason will only ride red bikes now that he is a TFD gang member. Les, sorry to here about you getting flamed on that other site (the jerks),they just don't have any manners, I always watch the way Drake will postup for a blueprint on protocol. Well Happy New Years and happy trails. |

Well I was getting bored running out of projects for my 2000 X1. Luckily tonight my 2002 X1 was delivered. Possibly threw a rod in the front cylinder but only 6600 miles on the motor, so we'll see. At least I have something new to keep me busy for a while! |

I worked on a little project too this weekend. The Carbon Fiber Jardine Exhaust came in, so I was eager to put in on. The sound is VERY good. I like it.

Hey guys, I hope all is well in the wonderful world of WINTER time.Glad to see you all posting up.Brian you know it's hard for me to fit in when I keep forgetting I'm not a twenty something anymore.(haha)I do look forward to the 2009 riding season.I'll be buying new tires this year come Spring time. I think I will try some of them Pirelli Strada's this time.I really wasn't too impressed with my Bridgestone Battlax BT-021's.I got a lot of milage(appr-8k) but I never did really like how they felt and the front wears faster.I hear a lot of good about Pirelli's.The Strada's are sport touring like the Bridgestones, you know I am not much of an aggressive rider.Any opinions you fellows have I'd appreciate. Drake, that exhaust looks very bad ass!You know you already have like 50 horses more than me,I guess you got more now.I can tall by your pics that it cleaned up the look also. You're gonna have those TSR guys really jealous now. We'll be lucky if we can set on the same sidewalk as those guys come Springtime.(haha) Phillip, you got your work cut out for you it sounds like.I hope you have fun turnning those wrenches.I hope to meet you this Spring. Peace and Grease!!!! |

Hey Lesley, I'm right here with ya on that fitting in. Sometimes I feel like i was born to be a flame magnet. Les I think the Pirelli Strada's will work good on your bike. Drake's exhaust mod will sound better than any I-pod that I know of, and will keep him riding in the cold. I got a new pipe too http://s476.photobucket.com/albums/rr123/slingblad e_03/ |

Brian, The Firebolt looks great! (as always!). Is the Triumph your bike too?? |

Brian, What gives? Who's Triumph? Sure is a nice looking bike. That muffler you put on your bike looks just like mine.Supposedly mine is a factory race or something to that effect. It is a vance and Hines.I had someone tell me that mine was no way a Vance but it is stamped so I guess the someone was wrong. Yes the Stradas are the way I'm going. I reckon even if I do not like them that well, they have got to be better than those Battlax.Jason and Jeremy both put Dunlops 616's on their bikes and I like them real well.I might even look at those tires but they are actually Uly tires.Very cool looking though. You know me on the looks.Probably go with the Pirelli's though. Come on Springtime!!!!!!! btw:Brian, I had to add the picture so you do not forget me. |

I found a Jethot coated Buell race pipe on E-Bay last month , my Drumer ss can shook apart at the header inlet?? Drake, how much of a weight savings you think you got with the new pipe? Well my brother let me ride his 06 D-675 back in October, for my small size it was less efort in the corners and just a track bike out of the box..... Hallett,,,, here I come! The Black Triumph is mine, but will never sell the XB. Now just who is that 20 year old in that picture? |
