Hello All

Just wanted to get it out there- for feedback etc,

I have 6 codes illuminated at various times so far- 1400 miles

- 2 "FUEL PR SYS ERR" (my fault- I pushed the starter button too fast after key on)

- "LOW FUEL SYS ERR" (on a full tank??)

-2 "FR A-F SYS ERR" (cleared on engine key cycle)

- 1 unknown cleared by dealer

Any body else have this situation?

PS- like many- I own many "sensor equipped bikes" (FI) and I have never had a "check engine light" illuminate> EVER

Oh yeah, get used to the check engine light. I don't even pay attention to it. It's usually "front O2 sensor error", but the latest flavor is "TPS error." Bike runs like a champ, so I tend to ignore. I have no experience with your codes, luckily.

On my '08, I've had FUEL PR SYS ERR (after running for an hour on the trip home from purchasing) and FR A-F SYS ERR (numerous times in the first thousand miles). However, after the first thousand miles, I haven't seen a code at all. For me, I'd call it break-in gremlins maybe?

I've got a TPS error on my 25r & was @ the dealer for the 0504 recall & had them check. They said it wasn't showing up on their diagnostic check. Runs GREAT regardless

Gremlins!- That’s essentially what the dealer said...funny and not funny at the same time- if you know what I mean.

I saw the NOV post, and I was revisiting, because that one went in to low battery voltage/ cold starting discussion.

Just not used to seeing a check engine light on a routing basis- then it clears itself with a key cycle.

Maybe I also need to get accustomed to it, ignore it.
