You know, 17" wheels and jacking it up a bit? Just curious. |

Check the TKV Wheels/Tires section - slows the steering down, one of the reasons the Blast does handle well is the smaller GP style tires promote quicker turn in, as wider tires promote more stability in cornering. EZ |

Ed AKA Ezblast is the BW moderator of the Thumper forum. Take a gander there all kinds of pictures and good discussions about how to make them look cool and even go fast. Look under racing the Blast and the thread titled LSR Racing is a "Blast" and you can see mine with it's upside down S1 forks, 17 inch wheels and almost 80 HP P.S. Ed great job on the board, I haven't been there for a while and don't spend enough time there. Guess the business has me too busy with the other Buell's. However we are going to see if we can get the Bonneville Blast back out and into the 12's at the Wed Night Drags. Terry JT&S Performance |

There was a guy at Homecoming a few years ago,who was a dealership employee.Who had a Blast with a Cyclone front end and rear wheel, that was pretty cool. He also had an HD,maby a Road King? And he ran both in Battle Traxx. Maby somebody here will remember him.His name might have been Hulio. |

I'm always keeping an eye open for an abused old blast that I can bastardize. Eventually, one will come up at the same time as I have money and bad things will happen |

Your welcome Ed, I still want to build a Blast powered C&J framed Street Tracker. But again so many bikes so little money and time. Happy New year to all who play or just lurk here. Terry P |

I'm always keeping an eye open for an abused old blast that I can bastardize. Wholly crap! That sounds like how I got to where I am today! I guess mom wouldn't be happy to hear that. |

I'm leaning more towards CicySlicker on this one here. Rip off all original instruments and add one of those tiny LCD things on the bars and calibrate it to whatever sized wheels you end up with... Sounds like it could very well end up under 300 pounds if you're careful. |

The blast is porky, with really minimal opportunities for weight loss. Loose the headlight, the dash cluster, the foot peg supports (go to mids) and redirect the exhaust, my bet is you probably only skimpy 30-35 lbs off the putt. |
