I have removed my mirrors and now find that I need to cover the three holes left on the fairing. I have looked at some of the flush mount style blinkers and even ordered a set off of E-bay to test. They should be large enough to cover the holes and run the wires through the center. What have others done? |

This is what I did.
A mirror relocation that still uses the factory signals and mirrors and take the cold air off your hands too. |

That looks good. In my experience the lower the mirrors the better. |

Jake, they're made by Motrax, I don't know if you can get them in the US. They're a generic aftermarket set not made for any specific bike. They're held on with black silicone which is VERY secure |

Aron - post your impressions, please. That looks very interesting to me. All I have now is the running lights that I re-wired when I replaced the mirrors with Firebolt ones. I'd like just a little more front visibility. Z |

Hooligan, If you can get me a pic or scan of the exploded view of the front fairing assembly I can draw out what we did. I can not take pictures right now as My bike KITT is at home in the States and I am in Korea. I will be more than happy to sketch out what I and the metal worker and I did. |

Yep, those are the ones I used. Since they're LED's there's no need to mess around with resistors either. |

Crowley, I like the looks of the turn signals. I am kind of a safety nut. Are they easily seen by oncoming traffic and cagers stopped at the intersections? I was worried about them getting lost in the running lights or headlight at night. Any issues? |

I would be interested in a set of the mirrors if someone wants to sell theirs cheap... |

Jjr1125, I've no idea whether they're visible to oncoming traffic or not because I'm sat behind them Personally, I'd junk them and the mirrors completely if the law would allow. I wouldn't trust ANY other driver to have seen my signals whether they were standard ones or not but in answer to your question, I suspect that they're no where near as visible from the front. |

Crowley, You're right about not trusting the lights to be seen. I really don't "trust" that anyone sees my turn signals, but I use them in the hope it may stop at least one idiot from running me over. I'll stack the deck in my favor any way I can. |

OK so I got my E-bay specials. They are not secure yet because I first have to get some fasteners from work to secure the fairing before adhering the mini blinkers in place. They are just big enough to cover the flat spot where the old mirror attached. They are not flashy but blend in nicely and fit to my liking.

> has anyone wired up their running lights to the blinkers? There was a guy here months ago that did that. Put in yellow bulbs, even, and did away with the factory mirror/blinker all together. |
