Went out for dinner and of course every place is closed. So I remembered I had 2 chorizo in the fridge. I'm having Kristi's beans & rice for dinner. |

Damn... Is there ever a lot of snow here in East Troy. I'll have to take some pics in the next couple of days to post. Plus with the wind, it's also cold. And it was supposed to reach 70° in New Bern today... Even with everything stacked up against me - I'm still glad that I'm not in New Bern right now, 1313 |

Hi everyone....Just stopped by to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. I miss seeing you all and hope you all are having wonderful and happy holidays. Me and Kylie are having a wonderful Christmas, although I did get the impression that Santa didn't think I was on the Nice list. Think my overly abundant (FAT)butt sitting in his Lap at the mall, may have tipped the scales against me. All I asked for was an '09 SS, Well maybe I can be nice for next Christmas. Take Care and be safe to you all, Merry Christmas. |

Merry Christmas to everyone! Larry - I hope Kylie has a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your time with her. We just got home from my Mom's house. Tomorrow we'll be home all day. Webe and family are coming over for dinner. We're going very non-traditional, we're having meatloaf! JimN - it's a good day for a ride tomorrow. Give us a call and come on over for Christmas meatloaf! |

Hope everyone's having a great Christmas! Just got back from a decent ride. Didn't even get chilly. Exactly what I needed. I think I'm going to like the Scorpion 700. Today was the first time I've tried it. Later... |

Santa is evil!!! No riding for me tomorrow.
After a couple trips to the tool store today I'm comfortable saying that if anybody wants to service their own forks I have the tools and willing to help. I'm upgrading to the 08 trees and progressive springs while she is all neckid.
Ordered two of these by mistake so anyone wants one PM me your address and I will send it to ya no charge. |

I'm upgrading to the 08 trees and progressive springs while she is all neckid. If you go with the 08 trees, I believe you need the 08 forks as well, or you'll end up changing the wheel base. |

No forks; changing the rake just a little. Others have without ill effects. I'll let you give er a ride after if your interested Jim. I mostly want the increased turning. More stability on the highway at speed has also been reported. We shall see soon enough. |

Going to stop by work tomorrow during the off day and machine a fork lock pin on the lathe so that will still work like the stock one. That and some type E fork oil will finish this I hope. Didn't catch that I was going to need just over one can per fork. 1 pint doesn't equal 18 fl oz for some strange reason. |

We're going to meet U4euh at Michael's tomorrow between 11:30 and 12:00. Anyone else want to join us? There is no set ride, we'll figure that one out at Michael's. We just have to be home by 7 p.m. to get our children. |

I will plan on meeting up as well. I've never been to Michael's, and it should be easy enough to find it. If I have any trouble, I'll give U4 or Kristi a buzz. |

Kristi, got your message. You guys must have beat me home. It was great seeing and riding with 'yall, but that was one miserable ride home. Poor night vision with a wet ass sucks! Hugh, tomorrow was today. I think the weather will be worse on Sunday. |

Well I am glad we got the Bad Weather Certification ride out of the way. Now we are official. It was a fun day even with the fog, late start, rain, not-70°F, seeing John, wide-eyed and sideway behind me as we are coming to a stop and all. I'm glad I got to see everyone and the roads were not too bad either. I need to map those roads just south of Jordan Lake. Kristi logged another 350+ mile day. If we could find the time and money, soon she will be ready for a long motorcycle trip somewhere. Thanks for the company. Hugh, Sorry we missed you. |

Hey guys- guess I just saw the day but not the time on Kristi's post. Glad you guys had a decent ride. My in-laws used to live at the far end of Mann's Chapel Road (the road across from Michael's). I hope to catch up with you for a ride up here one of these days, hopefully when the weather is a lot better. Looks like I'm in for a wet ride back to SC tomorrow, but at least the chance of rain decreases as I head south. |

Whoever said sunny and 70 MISSED THE BOAT! As for the 20% chance of rain...I think we found that plus some. Even with the rain and cool temps it was a fun day. I don't think I've ever had the chance to ride with Twig or U4euh. It's usually Carlee with him when you guys are together. U4euh - those mittens over my glove made a HUGE difference on the way home. My hands were cool, but not cold like they were when we arrived this AM. Thanks for saving the ride home! If we trade another day of babysitting before school starts again maybe we can pull off another ride somewhere and hopefully with better weather conditions. |
