Charlotte, Hint: "1. Images must be either GIF or JPEG format. " 2. There is a max memory size limit, and a max "no body will yell at you" dimensional screen size limit. Exceed one and the image upload will not work. Exceed the other and EVERYONE WILL START TYPING IN UPPER CASE TEXT AND USE A BUNCH OF !!!!!!!'s. Try to keep the pics way under 1Mb, and probably dimensionally less than 4" wide, depending on how your graphics editor works and saves images. |

Try 50kb, not 1Mb. PPiA |

Geologically speaking... Salt is non-porous and impermeable, so it can't actually contain oil or gas, but when they onlap against salt, or arch over the tops of salt domes, porous and permeable SANDS can trap oil and gas. (Sorry to pick nits, Char, but this stuff is my life...) I'm no middle east geologist, but I think some of the salt domes there have broached the surface and are flowing with glacier-like rapidity downhill. r-t |

Socially speaking... It's not the personal entrapment of gas that's the problem...it's the release! r-t |

I heard containment was a personal problem, loss of containment becomes a public one.

Mennis... Mulch the leaves with the lawn mower. Granted you will probably shred the frisbee, but what the heck...Xmas is coming and the dog probably needs a new one anyway. LOL |

I did drive thru Utah once yrs ago. Went right past the great salt lake, stopped in salt lake city for lunch. About the only thing I actually recall about the salt flats area was a lot of loose rocks near the sides of the road that people had spelled all kinds of shit with. Well that & the fact that the road was so straight & long, I think you could have fired a rifle straight ahead & found the bullet laying in the middle of the rd. |

FMJ... Thanks for the Salt-Away Website. Sure wish they had it on the market back when I had my boat berthed in Dana Point, CA. Now, all I have to do is figure out how to use it to extend my riding season in Wisconsin without turning my driveway into an ice skating rink. Have a great day! Bill PS: Would have enjoyed talking with you more at the Brat Stop, but you seemed to have your hands full with the women. Must be a Fireman Thing, eh? LOL |

Wont have the bike done until spring. Doing some mild custom work to repair the crash damage. 2" stretched tank, drag bars, mikuni carb, internal wiring in the bars, custom headlite, custom seat to fit the tank with some small snakeskin inlays in it, having the rims relaced with custom spokes & billet hubs, was supposed to get all new rims but the fronts were sold out & thats just a few of the things I am presently doing to it. Get it all done & then I need to take it apart & have it painted. Want to go with a real dark purple with some black ghost flames on it. Swap meet in grayslake on the 24th this month. Hopefully pick up some pegs, pipes, & the turn signals I want. |

Hey Dyna... Sounds like you are doing a bitchin' job on the scoot. Can't wait til it is ready for the unveiling. How about some work in process pics for us mere mortals. LOL |

Bill, taking some pics is actually on my list of "to do" things. Busy with work & bike & sleep Looks funky now with a bare metal tank on it & a 1" gap at the nose of the seat, turn signal wires just poking out from all 4 corners. Its more work than I thought it was gonna be, everytime I start doing something, I see soemthing else I want to change to make it just a little bit better...but its fun all the same. I get my chrome motor mount, mikuni carb & flush gas caps on monday. They shipped out last night, I love UPS |

Road Thang, I am no expert on Oil and Gas. I think I was either hung over or asleep during stratigraphy and probably both (that accounts for the first two years of college)... care to continue with this conversation by e-mail? I would like to know more... and quit boring the rest of the badweb! I was attempting to sound 'smart' and then I nullified the attempt while trying to post pictures. Ah well... at least Mennis still likes me.... I think. Fosnocc, Photos comin' at ya from my work e-mail. Will title them 'Elf Photos'. Gotta see if we can beat Court's deadline and I have to work here at some point. Could you send them back without posting them here? Josh, Got your program downloaded and now what do I do? Sorry about the smarta** e-mail, my bad... Charlotte |
