I see alot of dealings with shock issues here, I'v got Works" on mine, and it's just a forget it and ride thing, plus it's soooo trick. At about 6-7 hundered it's not cheap but I'm seeing horror stories about stock and the prices charged and all the recalls etc. |

I like the notion of ride and forget- its' been pretty much my whole attitude throughout life, for better or worse. My humble M2 just keeps going. I had hoped, by now, to have been able to find a used aftermarket shock of 16.5" or greater length that would work and wouldn't be some recall or totally shot, abortion and have yet to do so. Until then the one that came with the bike continues to function as though it were built on some bonus day in the land of the rising sun. |

The first think I can do to help is to direct you to the "Parts and Accessories Wanted" topic in the "Classifieds" section. You'll likely have much better luck there than in this technical discussion area. |

Has anyone ever bought one of these units used? If so, how much and was it satisfactory? Given the aging generation of tubers why aren't there more of these on ebay, craigslist, etc ? |

I feel the price for a good aftermarket shock for tubers id crazy. you can get a good used bike for around 3k and they want close to 1k for a shock CRAZY !!! |
