In September I bought a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. I really love it. The other day I realized that my truck has an inline engine(4.0 I6), and my bike has a V engine(9R). Maybe I just like to do things backwards. Thing is, both engines are known for being torquey. |

Yep. Both our trucks are inline sixes too - '92 Wrangler 4.0 and '05 Ram 2500 cummins diesel. Only feature with the 4.0 is they have enough torque to actually twist the block some, cracking exhaust manifold welds. They came out with a new design manifold a few years back, they have what look like bellows made into the 1 and 6 runners, allowing for some flex without breaking welds. I don't recall when they changed the design, but if you don't have the updated design yet...you will soon enough I put mine on this past March. |

On the Wranglers, you cant get a straight six anymore. Correct? What is the last year they were available? I'm wanting to pick up a Wrangler but am not fond of the V-6's. |
