So some of you may have seen that we have had a strange run of weather. It has been below freezing for a number of days, and yesterday we got snow. Of course this all turned to ice, as we are incapable of dealing with snow removal.

I just got back from the market, sidewalks are coated in a inch of ice. I did see something really funny.
I saw a guy driving a mid 90's Saturn wagon with chains on. He was having real difficulties making the hill out of the market.
Of course he decided to put to chains on the REAR tires. In between pointing and laughing, I tried to get his attention to inform him of his error. He was too busy spinning tire to notice me.

To add a cherry to this shortly after I saw an older jeep cherokee (1985ish) with chains on the FRONT wheels. Of course the jeep wasn't in 4x4, or something was wrong with the transfer case.

Either way it is time for a winter related re-education camp.

Too funny!!! I think driving 65 in 4x4 Blazer or Ranger is a natural thing to do up here in the mountains, it is minus 4 degrees, 6 inches fresh snow over ice base

SLED O'CLOCK!!

It just gets better. 2 busses decided to attempt a steep icy hill. This was the aftermath.

The mayor, governor and the state police advise you to stay at home and stay off the roads. Y'all just too senseless to realize you cant drive in it.
I really dont care if you do have a Lezbaru festooned with political stickers to save mother earth; she is gonna kick your bumber right into the ditch. STAY HOME. Besides I dont want you spoiling my parking lot fun ; )
