I am experimenting with some options on my S3. I would like to see what a firebolt fairing would look like on a tube frame. Pic for reference since my S3 will closely resemble an S1/X1.

Hard part is making it look right, not sure how it would mount up, but with the stock X1 bars it just looks out of place. |

Thanks a bunch, not quiet what I was hoping it would look like. I plan on having a complete XB front triple and forks with wheel, so the mount would have been easy. It just doesn't do it for me though. Ahh well back to the drawing board. |

I plan on having a complete XB front triple and forks with wheel, so the mount would have been easy. Just an FYI but the R fairing mounts off the frame, there are four bolts on the neck so mounting might still be a PITA |

Tq_freak, See that is what happens when I assume and end up talking out my @ss. Thanks for the heads up. I will NOT be using this setup. (Message edited by slowride on December 18, 2008) |

Did you sell the Uly or did you just pick up a stable mate? Later, Bart |

His wife drugged him and tied him up and made him sign the title over to the Honda dealer. He calls me every night crying about how much he misses the bike

+1 on what Froggy said. Bart, I sold the Uly and picked up a "ST1800" for the wife and I touring. I then purchased a 98' S3T that will soon be a beast of its own. What will be funny is when I tow the S3 to MarchBadness on a trailer with the "ST1800" |
