Sunday, Nov. 9...Today's Ride Schedule: Meeting at 10:00am in Richmond, IL (Hwy 12 just south of the border). Nev & CJ: I'll see you at 9:45am in Lake Geneva. The ride will be a hodge podge of back roads around the lakes & kettle moraine area. I'll probably just try to get everyone lost (including myself). |

We are sorry to announce that Gerald "Jerry" Kiesow of Joliet, IL passed away peacefully in his sleep, November 7, 2002. He was admitted to the hospital with a gall bladder infection that eventually led to his passing. Jerry was 84 years old, a life-long A.M.A. member, an early member of the Joliet Ramblers Motorcycle Club and former expert dirt tracker. Jerry worked since the mid 1960's and until his retirement in 1995 in the Service Department of Illinois Harley-Davidson. During that time Jerry met and touched the lives of many riders and racers. Jerry's happiest moments were in the shop or at the track being around motorcycles. He will be truly missed. Jerry's racing career was highlighted by wins at the 1966-67, 24-hour motorcycle marathon race held in St Louis. Jerry competed professionally aboard a Harley-Davidson dirt tracker from 1947-1949. Fly,Great thought, I knew there was a reason you were in charge of the news letter. I was thinking of submitting a brief summary of the "Team Elves Invade Uke's" for the news letter. Let me know if it is OK. |

Dennis: Looks like Brew City has some good events planned within great riding areas. Would you mind if I publish these events in upcoming Windy City BRAG newsletters to generate some interest amongst our group? KenW: Nice bike. It's so......red. Have you had a chance to ride it much since getting it back together? |

Fly, You're more than welcome to put this in your newsletter. I personally would like to see more multi-club participation in events (not just ours but yours, Ukes & Waterloo). I have a great idea (actually "borrowed" from San Diego) for a multi-club event. Keep your eyes & ears open for more info! |
