Well, I couldn't find my tuber sprocket, so I ended up using a sportster sprocket to convert my bike back to belt. I still have to machine the hub clearance out, but in the meantime, I went ahead and started polishing it. Does the buell sprocket have a smooth finish underneath the paint? Just for reference, just figured I would show everyone what a polished sprocket looks like....... if they haven't seen yet. IT IS A PAIN IN THE BUTT~! I have 3 hours into it already!

These days I only polish the sprocket if the old lady is out of town for more than a couple of days. Just don't have the free time I used to. When I was younger and single I used to polish it a couple of times a day, but it never took 3 hours. |

polishing the sprocket.. so that's what they call it these days. I considered polishing mine, but the only smooth surface is the outer edge of the sprocket. The inner area with the holes cut out has a lot of rough texture to it and would take a while to sand it smooth in all those crevices and curves. I'm sure it would look nice but that sounds like a lot of work.. Mine just got spray painted white along with some other random parts to add individuality |

Polished rear sprocket, front rotor spider, fork legs upper and lower. My hands may never be the same. |

How much material came off the forks and did the clamps have to be altered? |

Jstfrfun, I couldn't tell a difference at all regarding clamps with polished or stock. |

I powder coated mine when I had the swingarm done. Turned out pretty well. |
