Hey 1125R owners. I defended you guys in a letter to Sport Rider and they printed it. I'm not sure they grasped my point. I realized the KTM is slightly better on the spec sheet but not $7503 better. Anyways check it out in the January Sport Rider. I hate that magazine but it's like a car crash. I have to watch. Well they did give the CR a pretty good review. |

Good for you!!! Keep fighting the good fight! My wife got me a subscription to SR, and while there is some good info it caters to the cliche (sp?). They really like the hondakawayamazuki. R |

You are just another disillusioned Buell owner. Only reason I get SR is that it costs like 11.00 a year. At least good for one session "at the office". |

In your opinions do things like Moto ST results lend any validity to the superiority of the Buell product? I thought about race results but decided not to bring them up. How are semi-pro racers getting around the track faster on the Buell if it is slower and worse handling than the KTM. I still don't get it. |

EZblast is right. In a 3-hour endurance race, most of the time the winners are those that don't crash and don't break down. There is alot of luck involved. Also, remember that Moto-ST has a HP limit for each of the classes and at about 120 for the SST class, the Buell had to be de-tuned. That definitely makes it hard to draw conclusions of faster/slower from Moto-ST. I don't think that the RC-8 was around to participate in the series last spring/summer. |

I believe there were some KTMs and Buells going head to head in some European racing circles. |

One of the races had the factory KTM Supermoto team race a SuperDuke R and were way ahead of second place when a crash knocked them out. It was the first time ether rider was in a roadrace. |

Bench? Naturally! I think Fresno is right. A European series sounds right. I only stick my head in the racng forum every so often. I'm not very well versed in Buell racing results.} |
