Court, Who made the big posters that hung on the wall at Ukes? I would love to get the file for the b&w version of the LSR bike at speed. The rear end squat from the torque and front end lift was amazing. Richard said at around 203mph the rear end was swaying due to traction loss but front was solid, at 208 the rear stuck but the front moved a couple of inches side to side. After looking at that pic, I can see why. The Flying Cajun has definitely got some big ones..... Brad PS. Pic will be on the way as soon as I get home. |

The POSTERS were made by none other than our own HOOTOWL in Houston "Center of the Universe", Texas. Were they awesome or what? Court |

Joe; I'm hesitant to admit it in public, but one of my favorite Aquavits is Swedish Henrik (who is lining up the traditional, annual Scandinavian X-mas lunch: Smørrebrød and all) |

Hello All, Am at Mole Lake today just to check out the board. I have a joke for everyone........ A Hoosier, A Cornhead, A Fireman, A Doctor, A Smartass and A Lady were sitting at a bar until 1 am.... You know, it should be 'illegal' to have that much fun... Henrik, I am sorry we scared off your heiffers before you got their phone numbers.... . I had a great time Saturday also.... Dennis, thanks for the ride of a lifetime... and CJ and Bill for talking me into it. Fireman Jim, you are a riot and a half and I must say to everyone: FMJ got so excited talking about Bonneville at the bar he must have spit on my face at least three times... I have to go take a shower now. BY THE WAY: I am starting to save up my pennies so I can go to Bonneville and RIDE next year and maybe join the 130 mph club? So be prepared.... the story continues. Charlotte PS Blake is not scary at all AND I just asked for the hat to see if you would give it to me. |

Looks like all in all a fun time was had by all. Sure was fun seeing everyone and hanging out for the day. Can't wait to see Uke's when the palace is done. Someone needs to get "Scrap" to retell the "Hi-ya-busa" in the starting lane story. The tour of the factory with "The Mayor" was great, he was nice enough to answer all our questions and even put up with the 2 rowdy guys in back who kept talking. Hope someone got a picture of the 2 sheetcakes, each with a large representation of the RR before they were wolfed down. (real good cake too) Thanks for all that helped make it happen, and we hope to see you all at Bonne next year. Josh&Mariabelen (and "family" ) |

Char; no worries - I don't go there anymore. And when I did, I wasn't much of a phone # collector - more of a now-or-never kinda guy It was great hanging out ... And Chris - who says "The Lady" refers to you ??? Henrik (maybe I'm the Smartass) |

I'm saddened to have missed out. I would have enjoyed seeing old faces again and some new ones. Instead I'll settle for the "crash at the track" memory that won't ease up. Ouch! BTW, our Mexican restaurants down here serve bean kringle for real, they just go by a different name. Has anyone thought of compiling all the pics onto a cd? Perhaps some narrative to go with it? Who's capable? |

Okay, let the sober guy take a turn at this... Heifers = the two dames who stopped to talk with Henrik and were no doubt experts in motorcycles and all things related to speed. Why one of their boyfriends even had a ZX12, er KZ1200, er some shit that would do 280 mph. FMJ and I figgered the conversation was soo good and that Henrik was having so much fun we started to throw gas on the fire by adding he was a doctor and from Denmark no less. Great fun! JB2 |

Court, i know this is YOUR line, but i figure by now you're all yakked out (yeah, right) and it needs to be said: "Gads, i LOVE this sport!" thanks to all, for making me glad -- yet again -- that i've still got a Buell out in the garage. FB |

I am a biker chick, and biker chicks aren't ladies ! When I close down the bar, I want to be known as "Ms. Bad A$$" !!!! And don't you forget it Henrik !! CJM |

FB1, okay now that your spirit is tormented to a normal level again can we count on you being at Bonneville next year? You only live once... ONLY ONCE... remember that. Pammy, that was a really passionate post you left on the GDB. And here we thought you were a badass biker chick. Friday was one of the coolest things I've ever been a part of. Richard Nallin, I'll always be the guy that doesn't get in your way or interrupt your concentration but what a cool thing to hear your thoughts and see how well you mix with all the people. Team Elves is very lucky to have you as a pilot. CJM, If you make it to Bonneville Team Elves will make sure you get in the 130 club. And as for the badass biker chick thing.... Charlotte (Raindance Queen) has you pegged. Pammy fooled everyone here for a while too. JB2 |

Well, its been said a hundred times already, but that was a great time and it was awesome putting names to faces....unfortuneately I didn't get the chance to talk to as many people as I would have liked! You guys are going to have to set a record every year just so this can become an annual event. I really enjoyed talking with everyone i had a chance to....Henrick, Aaron, Brian, Court, Blake, Wes (good name by the way). Courts gift of gab is downright scary. I was a little disapointed as both Pam and Fireman Jim's exploits are the stuff of legends and I missed most of the post Ukes entertainment! I'm not sure if I even met any Iowanese (sp?). Oh well, good excuse to have another one of these things. Elve's, it was a pleasure doing my very small part of hosting and it goes without saying that the door is always open! Looking forward to meeting again soon, either on or off the salt! WFO |
