Hey, Just wondering besides the wiring problems, anyone Know if the complete headlight unit off a 1125 CR could be installed on the XB While still using the Xb Speedo etc.. | ||

Well to each is own but I wouldn't do that. IMO the cr front end is the second worst part of it's design just after the deciding to leave the R tail on it. | ||

"to each is own" Agreed (I happen to like the CR front end, btw), but to the point of the post- has anyone looked at the parts enough to know how easy of a swap it may be? | ||

I think the CR front end is awesome. Makes it look like a killer fish I once had called a "Frontosa".  That was one mean ass fish! | ||

Fronts are cool fish! I once had a 125gal. African cichlid tank. I'm now down to a 38gal with some convicts.   I'd like to see some real pictures of this headlight swap if anyone does it! | ||

Here's my lame attempt at photoshoping it. Unfortunately my picture is real and the cr picture is not, so it looks kinda cartoonish. It's probably not to scale and sticking out to far as well.  I think it might look pretty good. | ||

 Best I can do. I think I made the light to big in this one. I'm resizing judging by the front tires in each pic. Again, the cr pic is computer generated, so It's never going to look right. I can't guarantee the angles are correct either. I'll look for a real cr picture on their forum. I do think it will look pretty good, but I don't know how easy it will be to do with the buell ignition on the side.} | ||

Nice job... Oh yeah will be alot of work with wiring Brackets etc etc, MAy need to buy the whole setup could be costly for everything which Isn`t included in that ebay link......Just was curious thats all..Thanks | ||

Well, one of the guys in old school put a CR headlight and flyscreen on a tuber....I'd say it's not impossible. I *love* the CR. It's the new version of my S1W - attitude on wheels  | ||

Your faring is way too small. I used the front tire as a guide to make sure everything is in scale.  | ||

Wow, I like it a lot! It looks better on the Lightning/Firebolt than it does on the CR! Probably because of the lack of the Intake scoops on the CR. If someone can make this work, they my have some! | ||

Anybody know if there is more room in the CR fairing than the lightning fairing. It looks like it. I'm wondering because I wouldn't mind throwing one on my Firebolt. |
