Ridenusa4l I would think that the arctic white with the brighter blue decals would be even faster... Just kidding, it looks really great and I would imagine that the picture does not do the bike justice. I am hoping that the white 08's may make them more appealing... |

Ridin' - I bought a new set of the darker "BUELL" stickers and replaced the bright blue ones. Yours looks good too. I put this "tank" protector on it but I'm not sure if I like it.

I talked to the guys at the dealer today, my 09 motor in my 08 frame has a 08 ECM with and 09 flash and calibration. So, that means I am running: --09-- injectors, engine (including sensors), programming --08-- O2's, wiring, ECM, gauge pod, all other not related items. Hope the info help! |

C4bird, Did you get the calibration number? |

Nate, Thanks for that data... interesting! So we've established that the '08 ECM and O2 sensors are unchanged with the '09 machines (assuming they are giving you the equivalent of an '09 drivetrain in your '08)... I'm sure Sly is already on this, but it looks like all we need to make an '08 engine an '09 are the injectors, headers and some programming. Shouldn't be that expensive... |

Sly, I didn't get the number, I'll ask next time I talk to the service guys. I specifically asked about the calibration, they were positive that it is the 09 calibration. I guess tech services walked them through all of it. Pariah, Yep, all 09 drivetrain, My 09 motor is using the 08 headers as well, not sure how that effects anything, but it rides great so far. |

Anony just answered my original question in another thread... headers are required to go with '09 fuel injectors and '09 mapping. Great. Now, all we gotta do is beg Buell for a discount on an '09 retrofit package (that includes injectors, headers and software) for us '08 owners... |
