Does anyone have a recommendation on covers for the winter? A couple of reviews I read on Amazon were saying that generic covers don't fit the Blast well. I also put clubmans on mine so I know that will make a difference. Thanks. |

I had a universal cover (medium, I think, cheap, dark blue upper/silver lower) and yeah, it hung down to the ground - with my bars the Blast is low at both ends! didn't hurt anything though - the cover got dirty but wheels stayed clean. it lasted OK for a year or two, but now the UV has gotten to it. you could probably get better protection at lower cost using a queen size fitted sheet, a silver tarp, and some bungees - but more trouble getting it on & off. there are also some "city" covers that just cover the top half of the bike, which would probably offer a better looking fit on the Blast, but they only cover the top half. If I had to start keeping my bike outside again, I'd get a universal and just let it hang down... |

I had a Buell cover on my Blast. The wind (Delaware) blew it over twice! |

Blew your Blast over? Geesh that sure sucks. Shouldn't have too much of a problem with that out here in Oregon. I'll be riding everyday that it is safe to so it is mainly to keep out the cold and ice. |

I did have a good excuse to get those bar end mirrors I've been wanting out of the incident. |
