"very nice bike! i would recommend you get rid of that seat though... very un comfy... i tell you what, i'll do you a favor, send me yours & i'll send you the FAR superior stock one" I agree 100% with Nukeblue... BUT I will not only send you my stock seat but will also promise to 2wash your bike once a week.... Now, where can I get one of those seats? I want one real bad... |

Nice bike Matt. No the Buell seat is not a Corbin in any way. Corbin's are super nice and very custom. Head and shoulders above anything else. I just got mine back from Corbin after a re-foam for softer foam. I hated the seat with the firm foam. Now I wouldn't ride with anything else. Your x-X1 is coming along nicely. I'm putting it back together this week. Here's the list of custom parts so far: 1250 kit from Revolution Performance NRHS stage 3 heads with 30 deg. squish Custom CP 10.8:1 pistons with 30 deg. dome (pump gas motor) S&S roller rockers JIMS titanium adjustable pushrods (no longer made) JIMS hydrosolid lifters Redshift .585 cams New Chrysler PT Cruiser fuel injectors -they will flow about 2.5 times the fuel and are a direct bolt in replacement for the stock injectors. Evolution Billet Clutch assembly with engine sprocket (lost about 7-8 lbs). I hope that the bike will make close to 120HP at the rear wheel when it's tuned. I'll keep you updated when it's done. Then it's on to the S3 and my 88" build. It's waiting in the corner of the garage. Congrats again on the bike. Super nice! Buellsrule!!! |

Buellsrule, Make sure you post some PICS!!!! Pammy, YES you KNOW this bike. Toni spoke VERY highly of you and your shop. I knew who had worked on it and owned it. That was the reason i had to have it. No need to worry about these Buells and the OTHERS to follow.. I WONT be loosing these any any other divorces, EVEN IF i decide to get married again one day. Now... I just cant wait to add ANOTHER. I hate living on a SMALL salary while finishing school. Matt. |

mm, I'd do bodily harm to many people for your salary while in school. I'm in school, and well, according to YTD on my paycheck, I'm below poverty level. YES! |

Brinnutz, Just keep it up. It will pay off. I am in my Masters degree with about 2 semesters left... Then start my Masters in Business in the Late Spring. My goal is to leave Law Enforcement and teach in Business and Political Science.... unless a Chiefs jobs opens up around here. Just have a plan and head towards it. After my divorce last year... I assumed a LOT of debt but new I ALWAYS wanted my Masters and Doctorate Degrees.. Now I am closer than I was. Just stay with it and keep your head up. It will all work out and pay off in the end. Who knows... maybe a BUELLER will run for President one day Matt. |

"i really SHOULD pay attention!" Sorry for moving away from the original topic but... Nukeblue, I did a bit of research (Google, Badweb, and other Buell forums) for the Buell Select Seat and most people preferred it over Corbin. I don't have the cash right now but if you want one try Dave @ 866.757.1681 (Got the name and number from an old Badweb thread). It used to go or ~$180. |
