Yesterday Baltimore City Mayor and the City council are slotted for raises this Jan. 2009 Anywhere from $2,000 to $1,400 increase a year. Meanwhile overtime is cut for Police in an already imbattled city. And a hiring freeze! She is taking her raise because she works hard and she needs the money for her daughter. She SUCKS! | ||

I am a local official, in this years budget, the only raises given were to hourly workers in the Highway Department. No other member of our local government with the exception of the assessor wanted a a raise... the assessor of taxes wanted more but was denied, our tax rate probably will be raise in retribution. Out little town held the line! | ||

This year social security was raised by 5.8%! I worked for me! | ||

Sadly, they make/take more than they ever earn or are worth...while the fire and police get chopped...........WTF! | ||

I saw him on the news yeah that is bad. Our favorite lady mayor Dixon has been under investigation too, but for spending city money. Politicians  K |
