Team Elves are the Greatest not to mention the wonderful hospitality provided by Uke's and their BRAG Club. Meet a lot of really neat people and had a fantastic time. Am looking forward to future events were Buellers from the region get together. Made one interesting discovery...Blake is really a neat guy in person...not at all like his cyberpersonality!!! Go figure. LOL |

I had a great time meeting all the Elves last night! You're all an inspiration to what a Buell can achieve. A special thanks to Eva & the gang at Ukes!!! You threw one heck of a party. One more kudos to Bomber (better know now as Joe ), Dyna & BadS1 (and everyone that I missed) for their work on making this event happen. Yeah Lawnboy....where's the Blake salute? |

Home safe after a wonderful day of Buell camaraderie. Met new friends and reunited with old ones. Reinforced again the reasons why I ride and why Buell enthusiasts are the best! Shut down another bar with FMJ... this shit's gotta stop!... one of these days. Life is good, drink it up! JB2 |

Sunday, Nov. 9...Today's Ride Schedule: Meeting at 10:00am in Richmond, IL (Hwy 12 just south of the border). Nev & CJ: I'll see you at 9:45am in Lake Geneva. The ride will be a hodge podge of back roads around the lakes & kettle moraine area. I'll probably just try to get everyone lost (including myself). |

That's why it's so fun to meet people in person that you think you know from the web. I know I got a couple, you don't look like we pictured you last night. I don't know if that's good or bad? It was great to meet some of you and to see ones I've already met again! We should do this kind of thing more often! Ride to the edge! Hey Guys, I'm back in circulation after catching some Z's - sleeping (trying ) in an airport is highly overrated... I had an absolutely great time yesterday, and want to thank everyone who made it possible and all you guys who showed up and made it a very special day for all us Elf Imports. It was great meeting everyone and to have a chance to put friendly faces with names and "tags." A special thank you to Erik Buell, who took a lot of time out of his busy schedule to hang out with us at the factory. He is so energetic and full of enthusiasm for motorcycling and MC design - and rightly very proud of the new product line and the wast improvements they've made in the production line and the quality of the finished product. It's clear that his employees share his enthusiasm and have a big share in the improvements that were made. A great thank you to all of them for making us feel welcome and share a bit of their work with us. Also thanks to all the good people at Uke's, who had obviously put a huge effort into arranging and setting up the event, it was great, and an added bonus to find real quality Kringle (I had no idea what you guys were talking about before) outside of Denmark (you know that's where you got them from, right?) - and thanks to Keith for letting us invade his shop. And thanks to Wes for escorting us to Uke's and hanging out and tolerating our prodding for inside info. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and to have the opportunity to share it with so many of you just made it so much better. Henrik (Grizzly, take a closer look at the picture with Erik. Your shirt was my own way of having all of you overseas guys with us in spirit ) Rocket: thanks for the call - now that I get to sleep at night, it was good to hear your voice again |

So when do we get the story from the "Don King" of Buells? |

Word has it that Don was having a worse than average hair day. Vickie must be working very hard to get him presentable. On a similar note I was cleaning out the F150 after Henrik and I literally lived in it for about 36 hours. There's a ton of dog hair on the back panel and passenger seat. Henrik had made the remark he could not wear his jacket since being showered with affection from Canfield's dog. Me thinks the Doctor was being too kind, it really looks like fallout from a Don King hair-do. A truck from Indiana containing hair of some sort from Staten Island, NY. Point of contamination; Midway Airport, downtown Chicago. Only in the world of Elves. JB2 |
