I dont get why he says the fireing is like "boom, boom....boom boom" .... it should be more like "boom, boom, boom, boom" history of inline4's... to make it so that the engine was balanced well they had two cylinders out of the four fireing at once, then it goes through two power-strokes and the other two fire off.... in terms of which cylinders (labeled 1,2,3,4) it goes 2&3 two power strokes and 1&4.... basically they at two sets 180degrees offest from another, so the fireing sequence skippes a beat to simplefy it more The new R1 has the cross plain setup, the bikes fireing order is offset 90degrees from the next; and in a 4stroke engine, that means there is a BOOM WITHIN EVERY STROKE | ||
