No worries Micah, A lot of work in the dash, plus mods to the XB mounts to make it work. It's all alloy sheet TIG welded and smoothed, I've never been happy with the powder coat quality so next time its off I'm going to strip it and paint it. Trawled through my photobucket archive! and found one or two pictures for ya! Sorry mate got carried away! |

Every time I look at it, I'm reminded what a true craftsman you are. Gorgeous. And don't worry about the bugs - to me, it's like clearcoat: paint isn't finished until it's covered Curiosity - how do you like the Corbin? How does it to compare to the stocker (you had a factory Euro, right)? I've been debating one for my S1W, but they're salty (as you know).... |

Excellent workmanship and definitely one of the nicest Tubers I've seen. |

Thanks chaps Joe I did have a Euro stocker but I installed a gel kit, It did help a little. I have only ridden it around town so can't pass any judgement yet, It is wider so I hope it's a little more comfortable. |

Corbin you say -- you know they make seats in 2 styles -- 3/4" plywood and 5/8" plywood -- I personally opted for the 5"8 -- |

Blake I had the Buell traction grips and they were good but because of my long fingers the extra thickness of the H/D grips makes it more comfortable for me. |

Jodie - you've gone more "nice custom" than "down and dirty built", so this may not fit the look of your bike...but I use plain old tennis racket grip tape (hard to find black, but worth it - much better than the "find it everywhere" blue!) on my S1W and my S2. Cheap, easy to put on, and depending on how big your paws actually are, you can do one wrap, or more. When it starts to wear? I spend another $3 and replace it |

congrats man, this S1-XB mix is definitely very unique! your dash is very nice and clean, i need to do something like this, custom made, for this! i also have an S1WL, custom made, not as much as the XB, but it came out a pretty nice bike. it will be ready today, i'll try to post some pics later this afternoon or tomorrow, i have the same color scheme of yours, pearl white with red frame, but i also have some old school flames on it... |
