I hear you, Crusty. As far as I'm concerned, anything below 80 degrees is a pain in the @ss. The snow makes it that much worse. But, spring is coming, in about 5 months. |

Hey, if you like the cold so much you can come on up to NYC - we got an IMS show this year, AND you can pick up some awesome Buell goodies while you're in the neighborhood! Me, personally, I'm sitting here in front of a fire with a blanket on, shivering, and trying to type. I freakin' hate winter. ->ChelleM |

Have Jeep, LOVE winter If it's gonna be cold, it might as well snow and make the cold worthwhile. And yes, I'm still a big kid - if they're calling for the white stuff, I go to bed with the backyard floodlights on so I can see if it's started yet, if I wake up in the middle of the night. I'm a dork |

I love it! I had a great summer riding season this year and I'm very thankful for it.........But winter does suck! I'm real slow getting on my bike now. I'm totally looking forward to the IMS in Washington DC and the other bike shows. I'm totally looking forward to green leaves coming back on the trees. K |

Gotta do the obligatory Seinfeld...."That's a shame", from sunny SoCal. Al Lighton, Ebear, Terminator, and I rode to the IMS in Long Beach and it was a glorious ride in the 70's. It was a tad cool on the ride home after sunset but nothing that my new heated handgrip kit on my Uly and heated vest couldn't handle. I grew up in the East and sometimes need a reminder of how great SoCal is. I just walked barefoot into my backyard and it is the beginning of another glorious day. |

Tom, please tell Al and Joanne it's been down in the teens pretty regularly back here in their old stomping grounds of SW Virginia. we've already had our first ice storm of the season, had snow on the ground most of the weekend, and bitter colds winds howled ferociously all day yesterday. we've got our woodstove on full honk, with the electric heat going, too (nice, considering Appalachian Power just raised our elec rates over 20%...) never mind, that's way too much for you to remember. instead, how 'bout simply: Y'ALL SUCK!!!

We rode yesterday in 60 degree temps and today there is a winter storm watch, possibility of 6-12" of snow starting tonite thru tomorrow. But, there's only 2 weeks left and the days will be getting longer. |

Uhm, we're not even to winter yet. It was below zero yesterday morning in Milwaukee and today we're looking at an ice storm (1/4-1/2" possible) and upwards of 10" of snow tomorrow. |

Ferris, Apparently, there is a reason why Al and Joanne refer to Blacksburg as Bleaksburg. I guess the best you can hope for in the short term is to set you gmail theme to 'beaches'. As for us, we are trying to get out to Ocatillo Wells for dirt biking and overnight magarita style camping because it is so balmy out here. (Message edited by reindog on December 08, 2008) |

Winter makes me depressed. Being too cold to ride makes me depressed also. Beer is the only answer. |
