I hunted for a seat for 3 months for less than $117... Every time I found a used one on eBay they went for at least $90 bucks. New ones sold for retail prices. I gave up 2 weeks ago and bought one with free shipping from Latus Harley-Davidson. I think you can get the tool kit from them too. Replacement parts for these bikes, including the plastics are reasonable on eBay. But accessories all sell for top dollar. Things like the windshield, bags, tools, performance accessories... but I'm sure a guy can get lucky on Craig's List or eBay now and then. I put a lot of effort into it trying to find a used seat. Searching 4 states on Craig's list and daily searches on eBay... I got sick of waiting. I see the dropped the price to $97... Standard Profile Seat |

I need a black rear frame cove to replace the one on my 2003 Blast... mine has a little road rash that I want to get rid of before I put racing stripes on my skins. I have a few pieces I could trade and would be willing to supply pics... a black tank cover with moderate rash but a cool HD medallion, a black flyscreen, stock mirrors, right side peg brace with driver peg only (rider peg was cut off by previous owner), left peg brace with rider peg only but the peg was bent in the lay-down. |

Anyone have a low seat for sale? |

Low seats are a dime a dozen-dont pay full price! They often go up on e-bay, cheap. Tall seats are in the demand. Did you check the parts for sale or wanted section? People often want to trade their low for high. |

Having had both the low and high stock seats on my bike...the low seat LOOKS better...and is nice for us short legged folks (I'm 5'4") as far as having a sold both feet on the ground while at rest kind of thing. BUT...neither seat is very friendly for rides over maybe 20 or 25 miles (I always got bad monkeybutt after more than maybe 30 miles with either stock seat)...the trick would be if you can find a used Corbin seat...the height is between a low seat and a high seat...I couldn't find a used one and in desperation bought a new one....now I can ride literally hundreds of miles in a day with no problems...expensive but worth every dime if you do or want to go on long rides... Btw...I have a pristine stock low seat that I can be talked out of most likely. |

Hey, everyone. I'm looking for a rear sub frame and tail. The plastic does not need to b in good condition. As long as the sub frame is straight. I'm going to make a custom interchangeable tail. Thanks in advance. |

May have put my ad in the wrong place so I'll try again. Since I don't have a Blast any more I thought I'd pass on a few things given to me. I have: a pair of handlebars a set of stock mirrors (spoken for) a stock muffler with mounting hardware (spoken for) These were all given to me so I'll pass them on for shipping cost. Day time email, zkissling@humana.com Evening email, kissling@tampabay.rr.com Cell phone 727 512-6459 I miss my Blast so much! I'm trying to get rollin again after a couple months downtime and need some things badly. I'm looking for (in order of urgency): Ignition module w/ Int. sensor(OE 32687-00Y)or suitable replacement mirrors a couple of blinkers carb-manifold boot Venturi ring control levers headlight brackets windscreen footpegs I am in Zip Code 76006 and will cover shipping costs. Additionally, funds are very low but I also have a full set of rocker box gaskets left over from the Sportster kit, stock muffler minus the header that was used for less than 1k miles, and a rear brake caliper and rotor that are in good condition if anyone could use it. What happened to your Blast that you need all these parts? Also, has the sprocket recall been done (do you have an 80 tooth or 73 tooth rear sprocket)? I'd hate for you to get your bike back together and have that thing come apart on you taking a few parts (and possibly you) with it. Sorry, I used to have lots of extra parts, but sold them all. |

I had a wreck on 11/30/09 in highway rush hour traffic that put me & the bike down for a bit. Really I laid it down to avoid colliding into a weaver that cut me off with no time to avert. At 65 or so I skidded and slid a pretty good ways. I did verify the sprocket recall had been done when I bought it last May or June. I put over 4K miles on it as primary transportation and made some of the necessary performance mods (V&H exhaust, K&N air filter, carb jets, etc.) So right now I just gotta get rollin and the cosmetics can wait. I'd a never have guessed it would hold up in a wreck as well as it did though. |

I think I have a clutch and a brake lever for the Blast. Also, I may have a couple of footpegs. They are yours for postage cost. Let me know if you need them and I will try to locate them in my garage. Chris C |

Chris, I'd be much obliged. Just let me know if you come across them and what shipping comes to- zip 76006-2239- at your convenience. Thanks alot. As for the ignition module, Chicago Harley has it for $100 + $12 shipping. That's by far the cheapest I've found it yet so I guess will place an order. |

I got a module locally rather than wait on the shipping time. No fire until I bypassed the clutch switch. Lever looks a little bent and doesn't feel right. Right lever is shaved on the end from the asphalt but I ground off the sharp edges so oughtta work for now. The headlight brackets are all bent up on the flanges that held the windscreen so I think I'll just try to reroute the wiring and mount the headlight high. |

Flyscreen flanges bend back easily-like they were meant to do that! I find running without the flyscreen works best and a higher mounted headlight can only be an improvement for visibility (other drivers). Maybe your old module is still good and you can recoup some of your money selling it? |

So I finally got my motorcycle endorsement and I bought my first bike... a 2001 Buell Blast. Then I promptly had a small accident that has left my headlight smashed and the break lever bent. I'm having trouble finding parts... can anyone suggest where to go? |

Try e-bay if no one ponies up here. I'm sorry, I do not have what you are looking for. Good luck! Chris C |

You can still buy the parts new. The brake lever is $15 part# N0202.T How much of the headlight is smashed? Just the chrome, bulb, housing, everything? There are a bunch of people selling parts on ebay. If you dont see what you want contact them and see if they have one they'll list. Be warned though, some will ask outrageous prices so ask here first to see if its a good deal. Sorry I dont have much left in parts either. |

Hello everyone, was hoping some one would be able to help me out in finding a flyscreen for my blast. Either a good site or if someone has an extra they are willing to part with, maybe we could work out a deal. Let me know. Milky.526@gmail.com. Thanks in advance. |

Well the housing and the nest seem still useable... but the lamp, retaining ring and bezel are all broken. |
