20,000 miles. Great bike, absolutely love it. Had leaky clutch fluid, and rear turn signal problems, both fixed under warranty. She is running really strong with these cold temperatures of late. Ray |

Loretta rolled off the line Nov 6, 2007, end of the first week of production. Broke a belt, my FU, cost me 162 bucks Found a bad cam at the 12k service, BMC replaced, no charge. Button on IC died, BMC replaced no charge, now I have gear indicator. Bonus!! First Corsa III rear lasted 6100 miles, 2nd lasted 7000 ,miles. Front is original at 14.2 k. She's been modified for comfort and cosmetics. She's had all her shots too. Zack |

Mine was also a Nov. 07 bike, #169. It has 10,600 miles. All flashes done. It to has all recalls except for the last one (vent line, stand spring, etc) done. Front tire replaced at 10,000 and rear at 6900. Other problems were; cracked mirror soon after delivery fuel vent replaced to help fuel smell 2 rear turn signals rear wheel bearing at 6900 miles rear brake pedal was sticking and bushing was replaced belt broke at 9700 miles clutch cover leak at 10,000 I do still love this bike despite the problems it has had. The only thing that has been a real problem, is that the dealer for Buell is 53 miles from my house. Too bad there aren't more out there. |

Bought Dec-08. 14K miles No extraordinary problems. Just the run of the mill ones that came with the early 08s, such as reflashes, leaky hydraulic clutch slave cylinder, turnsignal, and kickstand spring. |

I have 7900 miles on my '08 1125R Problems: -Had loss of power 4000-5000 RPM. fixed by removing active air intake solenoid and installing "noid-e"/Buell noid eliminator part -Stalling at stop, but it seems to have gone away after breakin. -Runs really hot (222). Fixed problem by adding 3.5 ounces of Water Wetter to HD longlife Coolant. Now does not get above 214. -620 mile maintenance- shimmed belt cover due to rubbing, fixed the problem. Switched to HD SYN-3 synthetic oil. -800 miles, Battery died the other day after sitting for two days. scared to take it off the tender now. -1100 miles, bent front rim on pothole, replaced by dealer. -1145 ECM re-flash performed by dealer. -2000 miles- brake line rubbing against fender. fixed by loosening bracket and repositioning rubber higher in bracket and retightening. -2500 miles- Oil leaking from the Neutral switch, fixed by dealer under warranty. -2800 miles- oil leaking from the bleeder hole beneath clutch cover, fixed by dealer under warranty. -3300 miles, recall maintence (oil jet in tranny,) performed by dealer. -3400 miles, fluid leaking from around bleeder threads in clutch cover after recall maintenance performed at dealer, fixed by tightening bleeder nut. -3400 miles, weep hole below clutch cover leaking again. (fixed by dealer under warranty). -4500 miles, Low sided@30-50mph on onramp (patch of sand). Broke RH mirror, scraped RH radiator outer shroud, scraped RH of fairing, put a flat spot on brake lever end, ground down bar-end slider(glad I got those), ground down axle slider on swing arm (again glad I got those), ground down plastic cover on clutch cover and a small portion of the housing (still mostly intact). The shrouds really work!!! I picked up the bike (had to get the dirt out of the RH pod and exhaust) and rode away, with only minor bruises (good thing I had on my riding gear)ATGATT. Fixed all the parts for under $300. Not bad for a 30-50mph low side. -5700 miles- clutch cover leaking again. Will replace clutch cover with revised cover and have dealer replace seals again. -6300 miles- replaced clutch cover with '09 style cover and had O-ring seals replaced again by dealer under warranty. Hopefully, this fixes the clutch leak problem. -6300 miles re-flash performed by dealer to fix fueling issues. She runs great now!! - 6400 miles. Clutch is weeping again. This time the dealer is going to replace all of the hydraulic parts in the clutch (pistons, sleeves, O-rings). -7000 miles. rear turn signal burned out. Replaced with aftermarket LED signals. -7300 miles. dealer replaced front brake line due to rubbing. Had them re-route it on the outside of front shock like the '09 models. Had fuel vent recall performed by dealer. dealer replaced oil dipstick under recall. dealer replaced clutch pistons under warranty. runs great now and no leaks. -7400 miles battery died again. It seems to happen whenever I mess with the instrument cluster or get it back from the dealer. It may also be the cold weather. Back on the tender. Mirrors fold at high speeds or very windy days. They will warranty that. Or you can do what others have done and put a few drops of loctite on them. |

Hey Badlionsfan Thanks for the info. Is there anything that can be done about the shaking of the mirrors also? I would like to be able to see if those are cherrytops behind me before i yank back on the throttle. Trying to guess isnt working. |

Not sure. My mirrors have been fine. I would bet that loctite would help with that issue too. If they drift they're loose, loose = buzzing. |

Mike (Kttemplar): awesomely fastidious history! Regarding battery: mine also died after coming back from the dealer, when they attempted to load (unsuccessfully) the first re-flash. I tender almost every day... glad to know I'm not the only one. Oh, BTW, I've got about 3000 miles, and no problems, other than some stalling initially during the break-in period, and a depletion-prone battery. The bike has seen some trackdays and riding training so those 3000 miles are truly "quality" ... my commute is fairly short, too I also lowsided on the right side, with an account of repairs and upgrades on the thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/417708.html?1227986409 As Mike pointed out, the repairs were relatively inexpensive. Oh yeah, the rear turn signals kept burning out. But I replaced with a nice integrated unit from xblights (Robert Hall), which I'm quite happy with (described in my repair thread). hey choppers... i found when i had my HR1exhaust on the mirrors shaked a lot more that with the stock exhaust. i think that was because the bike just vibrated a little more all around with the exhaust on. i think its because of how it was mounted. shook enough to break the mirror glass out of the left side mirror. ps... if you want a spare HR1 can i have one lying around... i took mine off and am buying a drummer when its finished! |

MFG: Jun 08 Purchased: Sep 22 2008 1280 miles No problems (thanks to all the guys that got theirs before me) I ride it daily (when weather permits) I have had some 17 degree morning hard starts, but I would expect that with 12.2:1 compression. |

D_buckle Thanks, if I need a another HR1 i know who to get in touch with. My mirrors vibrated even with the factory exhaust on the bike. I will take it to the dealer once the weather breaks. My baby is hibernating right now..... |
