John and I have talked specs back and forth and I have sent pics of my bike seat/frame. He is going to mod the seat for me. He has experience with one other Buell with the same "thick cowel" problem. I'm going to have a good amount of plastic shaved off the cowel and have the padding replaced with a gel. Let you guys know how it goes. He took about 1.5 inches off the height, added gel pad and custom fit the seat. Really made a difference.
