Hi, Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. Me and Kylie Are going to Greensboro to spend time with Family. I did want to ask everyone to that is in the Raleigh area or has a radio Station that picks up Bob and the Showgram to please let anyone and everyone know they are having a telethon to support the Pediatric Brain tumor Foundation on Friday the 28th of November. As some of you know already my Stepson and Daughter have Nuerofibromytosis and this foundation provides for the search for cures for this disease. We went for a exam on Monday and Kylie has lost as much as 50% of her peripheral vision due to Glioma's(tumors on her optical nerves). We go on the 1st to get the final details from the oncologist at Duke for Kylie to start Chemotherapy. Please spread this information to anyone who can help, and Thanks to you all. And again everyone have a Happy and Safe(Stay at home Rubberdown )Thanksgiving and God Bless. Larry Ezzell (919)332-7760 www.bobandtheshowgram.com |

Happy Thanksgiving All!!! I've been getting to the gym twice a day, riding the recumbent bike alot and am getting better. Lots of walking too. I'll be back in no time ... but I'd prefer to avoid this action in the future. Sleeping is still a chore but getting better. I love Vicodin! Turns out the chopper pilot is on advrider and has pm me some. Pretty funny! I would not recommend the HP2 to any sane person ... that thing is crazy!!! I love it. It seems to have fared pretty well considering the speed and violent nature of the crash. I'll still haul it in for a front frame alignment check. The rest just seems to be about $600 worth of misc. parts to make it like new. All it needs to make it rideable is a front master cylinder which got torn off along with a metal protective cage around it. If the frame turns out to be tweaked, I'll take further action as I see fit. LArry, GOd bless you and your family. Be Well. Time to EAT! |

Larry Ezzell, i don't know you, but bless you and your family and may all the strength and love of the good people here on C3 and BadWeB be aimed your way this holiday season. Rubberdown, so good to see you post, thx for the update, and for making me smile. :-) Oldog, i'm being as careful as i know how! managed to do the "sit around and do nothing" regime for about two days before the stir-craziness got oppressive, so am taking this opportunity to knock out some one-armed chores in the new bike shop downstairs. very, very little pain these days (except during PT - those people are MEAN!!), have cut wayyyyy back on the pain meds, Denise is back on her game health-wise (stress is nasty business), and we're doing very well and very thankful for our many blessings. hope all y'all have had a great T-day. :-) FB |

Larry - please keep us posted about Kylie. If we can do anything, please let us know. Prayers for you and your children. Kudos to Ray Price for being a sponsor for the telethon!! Safe travels to Brankin and Jlnance (heading to TX today). Rubberdown - good to see you posting. Hope you are doing better with each passing day. Ferris - glad the pain is subsiding. PT is cruel and unusual punishment, but well worth it in the long run of things! Listen to them...we have lots of grass to be cut come Springtime! I hope everyone has had a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving today. Along with being thankful for my family and our health, I'm thankful that each of you have come into our lives. You truly make us richer by knowing you! |

Jerry, I am a Craftsman fan. The Chinese tools just break at the worst possible moment. Mike, I need to order some parts for both the bikes. I need to wait until next week and get the list together. So I left the hood on the van partially opened all Thanksgiving weekend and did not realize the light on the hood was on. Now the battery is dead so I have been riding the Uly to work because I have not had the chance to jump the van back to life. Cold or not, riding the bike home from work is just therapy. |

Hmmm... As many may know I have a Harley a day calendar on my desk (scares the timid ones, I guess...). Well an interesting one came up lately. At least they spelled 'Erik' right...
Got some cool stuff to post from the AMA Hall of Fame Museum and Wheels Through Time Museum, just gotta find the time... 1313 (P.S. Jerry - that means you and JB2 should expect some straight downtube H-D single stuff in the near future, so be warned!) |

Carlos, go ahead and post on the sale thread what all you are thinking of, Tim can get you the prices and availability. Everyone, if you have ever been curious about pricing on anything, post up on our sale thread. It would be great to see that get active. PM me if you have questions. |

Oh yeah. I was thinking today. I think we should proclaim that this is National Buell Day. After all, it is 12/03... 12/03 - 1203 cc's, get it? So maybe it should be National Air-Cooled Buell Day. And 11/25 coulda been National Water-Cooled Buell Day for the 1125 cc crowd. Happy Buelling! 1313 |
