Quote:I will sure try to make it by 6:30p.m. Will the Elves pick up the tab for my ticket?(just kidding of course) Here's an idea.(we need an emoticon with a light bulb above the head) While 2 hours does seem like a good amount of time, but having met some of you guys on the board, I don't think it is nearly enough time to fling the bulls@@t around. So since we will all be in the same place at the same time(we've been trying to do that for how long?), why don't we have a good time someplace for the rest of the evening? Questions? Comments? Ideas? Jerry
Who was this guy that suggested that all of these Hooligans gather in one place at one time "unsupervised"? What was he thinking? Or was he even thinking? I hope no one has alerted local law enforcement yet, it will at least give us half a chance of explaining things. On Second thought, BRING IT ON BABY So as the saying goes: suit up, get on, and hang on. AnonaJerry |

Daves... Quite possible. I count 44 that have responded on this thread and that does not include the (ever multiplying like rabbits) Team Elves as well as the area dealers (including Uke's), Buell factory types and walk-ins that may show. Good thing the room reserved for the Post Prom Party can handle 150. Translation: Bring more Iowan's!!! |

Bob, check Greyhound, the prices seem reasonable. Get to St Louis by Thursday afternoon and I'll give you a lift (note that you'll have a puppy on your lap) |

Actually Rog, most of the $$ was spent either mail order or a small indy place. I am looking for the most bang for my buck right now. Not going with any stock style Harley parts for the rebuild. Some items came from Choppers Inc, West coast choppers, Landmark rims, etc. Found a killer deal on Landmark Chromed Diamond spoke rims. Retail starts at $829. Got them on discount for $248 a piece!!!! |

This is totally outta control....... Q: Know how you can tell when you've planned a good party? A: When attorney's propose making participants sign a legal liability waiver! Kidding....that's a joke but you this deal with FMJH is insane. I proposed that a thinking person could save $5 shipping by getting off their ass and attending. Ergo, to get a "free" plane ticket is as simple as dividing the price by $5 and buying a corresponding number of shirts. Funny....HAHAHAHAHAHA. Well, it was funny in the USA. But....I just got an e-mail for PAUL AND ROSS IN AUSTRALIA! No..THEY ARE NOT COMING....but, to show you how insane this group is, they'd done the math. Turns out the excess baggage to carry the 7,213 shirts back to Australia pretty much kills the deal and, in the case of Paul, "when you've got byt one mate what are you to do with all those shirts" In fact, the wise and worldly Fiona called "no joy" on this one and snapped the Kanga-Elves to their senses. This.....is INSANE !~ You can count on a pretty fair contingent from the factory coming to Uke's. (Pity the poor soul who, someday, decides to see what day his bike was built ....."PM:11.08.02" ) Court |

Well, I now have a plane ticket on hold. Should arrive at Midland around 7:30 - just hope I'll have enough time to make it through rush-hour traffic and up to East Troy before 12:00. Rental car will be at standby as I land ... supposedly. Final decisions will be made tonight or first thing tomorrow morning. Henrik |
