Just passing the info along: Here is your chance to own a classic Buell. I know the seller... great guy... he runs the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline MA. http://www.larzanderson.org http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120340698792

look at the price of that thing! I'd pay that in a heartbeat for that bike. But unfortunately, it's not in the budget |

Ya... I think 10k+ is a steal for that bike. I too wish I had the funds... regardless.. it would make a great investment. |

I'd buy that bike in a second if it was in Canada. Unfortunately, it can't be imported. That's why I feel so lucky to have my RS. Somehow it got into Canada. How? I don't know. But if there's ever an RR available in Canada it will end up in my garage! |

Why can`t that be imported into Canada?? Been on the RIV customs site don`t see where it says it can`t? Nevermind I see now.. Looks like Buells only up to 2006 at this time and not race vechiles etc Bummer seems can`t even get a 1125 into here as well (Message edited by hogs on December 05, 2008) (Message edited by hogs on December 05, 2008) |

Actually, any Buell from 1995 and up can be imported into Canada. My RS1200 is a 1990 and I bought it from Hank B in Manitoba who bought it from a guy in British Columbia. Hank figured that it must have been brought into the country by a member of the military as they are allowed to import non RIV authorized vehicles as long as they don't sell the for 12 months. I just feel lucky to have a piece of motorcycle history in my garage. It's #59 of 95 built. |

On the RIV website the column that says "all other models" is the inadmissible vehicle column. You're not hijacking the thread because it was Jespo_m2 just passing some info on about a bike on ebay. I'd love to know how many pre S2 Buells there are in Canada.... |
