We did one last week at the shop. Watched the whole process very non-invasive. The bike we did it on had 13 kms on it and there were plastic pieces in the strainer. GET IT DONE ASAP

When did the Recall come out? I bought in NOV, could the recall have been done by the dealer already? I hope so. I just broke it in and for the past 100 miles I have been thumping it pretty hard to set in the rings and get everything worn in at maniac paced riding! I will call my dealer service department to check it out.

Called the dealer (HRHD) Gave my VIN#. No recall showed up. Service department didn't know anything about a CR recall. Is this a " crest of the new wave" info or old news? Any more info would be appreciated! I hate to think I could be damaging an engine bassed upon info given over the phone. In the mean time I will ride the hell out of it! If its' going to break, I want it to break now. Lets find out what that slipper clutch is all about.

Over 1k miles before I took it in for the recall. Have not noticed any difference in valvetrain noise. Safety recall campaign 0836. Had to tell the Dealer exactly what recall # and everything ready 2 weeks before the letter arrived. Thanks to Bad Web. C

Just found out today where the parts went. My bike was a dealer trade from a sister store, and BMC sent the recall parts there. They are on the way, and should be here late this week/ early next.
Thinking about parking the Evil Twin till then....
can some one tell me the date this recall surfaced. just want to work out how long it took for the info to get to Australia, i knew before my dealer did through forums.
i'm having a little trouble with mine (new motor) trying to get a loan bike or something, not an easy task.
