http://blog.motorcycle.com/2008/11/10/motorcycle-n ews/gi-joes-snake-eyes-rides-a-buell/ Ok maybe not G.I. Joe himself but one of his team mates "Snake Eyes" in the upcoming film of the same name. (According to Motorcycle.com) Cool paint on the 1125R though! |

This is Not An Official G.I. Joe/Snake Eyes Bike Contributed by Robert Sanchez Thursday, 30 October 2008 Custom Buell Bike NOT to be featured in G.I. Joe movie. Yesterday G.I. Joe fansite HISS Tank posted a few pictures of a Buell Bike and reported the following: HISS Tank.com has just received Images of what appear to be the G.I. Joe Motorcycle that Snake Eyes will use in the upcoming G.I. Joe Movie Rise Of Cobra. No Official word has been handed down as to what the bike will be called or its affiliation with the film. I emailed the HISS Tank site to tell them of their error after someone sent me the pics, but they didn't respond or update their posting. Soon a few other sites posted the pics as official Snake Eyes bike pics as well, so I felt the need to set the record straight. Here is your official word, the bike that was customized by Harley Davidson of San Diego for IESB's The Wrath of Con party that took place during San Diego Comic Con earlier this year. The images featured by HISS Tank were taken on the rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel during the set up for IESB's party. A few sites have been suckered into reporting that the bike would be featured in Sommer's upcoming film, no, the bike will not be featured in Paramount's live action film. But, I do have some cool pictures of Larry Hama and Ray Park admiring the bike at the party. |
