I doubt he is banned. Too much drama to be believable.

If it is true, I'm not surprised. Calling an entire segment of the riding community p*ss**s, just because they choose to wear heated gear is just a small example of his indiscretions. Maybe someone thought a timeout was in order, much like what I do with my 6 year old... |

Ya think Tramp might be snow boarding or skiing somewhere? He has been known to disappear in the past. |

Maybe if we all talk about it, and drive up the drama level, things will be better. When I see something that I am not directly involved in, I generally mind my own business. If I feel that I must be involved for some reason (something I almost always come to regret), I first contract principals on either side of the issue directly and try to understand. (this is generally the point I begin to understand why it's better to mind my own business... I have two different friends going through divorces right now... Ugh.) Anyway, most times I have taken a public stand without understanding both sides of any issue, or let somebody manipulate me into a public stand, I have generally regretted it in hindsight. The few times I didn't regret it (because I got lucky and was on the right side in spite of my incomplete understanding), my contributions didn't help anyway. YMMV. Like I said, I am not making any statements on the specifics of this situation, just some general observations from my own life... |

This is indeed a blatant transgression and an infraction worthy of persecution. Any idiot knows that it is Menage Trois with an accent over the last e, and not Menage et Trois which is something to the affect of Household and the three. Somebody needs their Jib Jab realigned linguistically. Other than that, who wouldnt try and get some in the cardiac ward ? |

Glitch sez: "He's not banned, he can log in anytime he wants." Thanks, Glitch- oddly, though, my original "tramp" account addresses me by first name and tells me other wise. Thank you for clearing the air and letting me know this was a technical error, and that I may post as I please, albeit under a new account, because the other one's still telling me, by NAME, that I'm banned. Crazy stuff, right? |

Thanks, Glitch- oddly, though, my original "tramp" account addresses me by first name and tells me other wise. What exactly does it say? I am very curious. and that I may post as I please As long as you post by the rules you agreed to when you signed up both times, as "Tramp" and as "Tramps" IMPORTANT!!! Welcome! We hope that you will come on in and say hello! But first please read and then affirm your promise to honor the following: Buell Motorcycles ROCK! I am a Buell Motorcycle Enthusiast and wish to contribute positively to and participate thoughtfully in discussions on BadWeatherBikers.com (BadWeB)! By registering for participation in this Buell Motorcycle Enthusiasts' discussion board/forum I hereby agree to honor and affirm all of the following absolutely and in entirety. I will not post profane language, nor will I engage in personal attacks or in derision in any form of other users of the board. I agree to treat with respect and courtesy all members of this online Buell enthusiasts' community. I realize that there is never any justification to violate this policy, and that if I do, I may forfeit my BadWeB posting privileges. I will honor without question, debate, or argument any/all custodian/admin request(s) concerning the content and/or decorum of my contributions to the forum. I realize that there is never any justification to violate this policy, and that if I do, I may forfeit my BadWeB posting privileges. I will not post any content to BadWeB or hyperlinks to other web pages that one would hesitate to expose in the workplace or to family and children. If it is not appropriate for showing on daytime public television or on a public billboard, it is likely not acceptable to post on BadWeatherBikers.com. I will honor this policy and understand that should I fail to do so, I may forfeit my BadWeB posting privileges. I agree to treat others as I would hope to be treated; I will only post commentary with a respectful demeanor just as if I am speaking face to face. In all cases I will avoid flame wars and hateful, derisive, insulting or divisive commentary. I understand that derisive personal commentary in any form is entirely unwelcome on BadWeB. I agree and understand well that those sowing disharmony and malcontent are unwelcome at BadWeatherBikers.com. I will not masquerade under multiple usernames, nor will I seek to disingenuously conceal my identity. Should I lose posting privileges, I vow to honor that decision and promise on my honor that I will not seek to regain access through disingenuous means, other username(s), new user account(s). I realize that doing so will constitute a blatant violation of my Internet Service Provider's (ISP's) terms of use and may result in revocation of my internet access. Absent advance permission from a board custodian, I will refrain entirely from the promotion or marketing of merchandise, businesses, services and other similar/competing web sites, and I will refrain from market research activities. I understand that comments posted on the discussion forum represent only the views of their authors and in no way may be construed as representing the views of BadWeatherBikers.com, its custodians, or its owner(s) of record. I will never hold BadWeatherBikers.com, its custodians, or its owner(s) of record responsible for any content posted by users of the discussion board. If I have a problem with content that is posted to the discussion forum, I will notify a BadWeB custodian; I will not confront either on the board or via private message or other means, the author of the post that I find problematic. I will allow the BadWeB custodian(s) to address and respond to the issue. By clicking the "I Agree" button below, I hereby affirm with no reservation whatsoever my promise to honor and abide by all the above in entirety. If you were banned, I'd not hesitate to ban this new ID as well. Welcome back, and please, re-read the agreement, and post appropriately. Crazy stuff, right? If you say so. |

Banning entails losing the privilege to even view the site, but I'm getting technical. If a clicky on an "I agree" button is all that is needed to magically restore posting privileges, you've not been banned, you've been sent a message and asked to agree is all. I don't know about technical stuff; who said that? Sounds to me like "Tramp" got hit with a conditional suspension, not banning. If not joined with an explanation, I'm sure Glitch will be happy to advise. But that should happen offline, absent all the public drama. We custodians are after all merely human. We too have our good and not so good days. That said, the terms of use here require that we all honor the requests that any custodian might make of us. If further deciphering is needed, custodians will happily advise accordingly. I hereby request that this public drama be concluded so we can get back to discussing Buell motorcycles. I am trying to decide which if any I want to purchase in the coming month or two. |

The Uly X ( no hard bags please) is high on my list. The XB12R is too. So are the big beemer GS and the Hypermotard, but without local dealers, they have a big first strike against them. In my view, that XR is one ugly motorcycle. The baseline Sportster Hugger would be my first choice in that genre. Those are some very cool looking machines. That XR1200 is just plane hideous to me. |
