If you're interested in the history of tanks try reading "Band of Brigands" by Christy Campbell. It's a history of the developement & use of tanks in WW1. Quite heavy going but interesting nonetheless. |

The V8 ford tank motor sold for real cheap in the early 50s--- purchased several and converted to L P gas and ran them on some deep water wells --was a very reliable motor |

Interesting. I was aware of the Ford V-8 but not that it had started out as a V-12. |
